Oh, that’s rather lovely. Even if the base vehicle costs three times as much as the first house I ever purchased . . . I want one, especially with those lovely chunky wheels 😊
Hi Andrew, I just put a msg on your last vid to say, don't worry about one tonight! It's your birthday and you deserve a night off to enjoy your time with the gang! But you have done one anyway which is testimony to your dedication and loyalty to your fans and all your hard work!! You could have put this on tomorrow but no, get a vid out, it's Sunday and it's dusseldorf!! We are all so grateful and appreciative of your unselfish attitude! We love you for it and hope these will never end for a very, very long time!! Bless you!! See you at the Nec if possible, I won't pester you so don't worry! Just want to say hello and show my appreciation for your wonderful efforts! A bit gut wrenching I know!! Just accept it for how it's meant to be shown, with love, nothing else! (that was a bit deep but heartfelt!) Take care, enjoy tonight!! Love and hugs xxx 😘🥰🐶🐕❤🍸🍹
Hands down the BEST, oh what I'd do for a Hymer. Everyone has a dream, mine would be to live and travel in that camper. Ski, surf, hike, bike, no place would be ruled out, the world would be at your imagination.
Good evening Andrew, yep…..that’s my kind of camper, both interiors were beautiful, couldn’t say I was swayed by either, if I had €158.000 it would be on the shopping list.👍👌🇮🇲
Hi Andrew, looking Good! You are in Your Element & 1st Class at these Reviews! What Beautiful Motor Homes especially the 1st one You Showed, High End Luxury fro Hymer here!!! Sending Lots of Love to You & to Dougal & Ted back Home with Your Lovely Mum. 💖💖💖💜💜💜 XXXX
looks fantastic I have an auto sleeper Mercedes which is 11 years old and drives like new and would now only ever buy a Mercedes it drives just so well and is worth the extra cash
Great video. Especially interesting with the compressor fridge, the batteries and the diesel heating, definitely the way to go. As for the Hymer, it was OK.
Another top video Andrew, Wow! the attention to detail on that Hymer is stunning. Love the functional wood wall panelling. Nice to see Hymer making a conscious effort to move away from LPG and offering a decent Battery system to replace it.
We rented a van to try living with a bed in the middle.. suffice to say never again! Twin beds is the way to go. Also we had a fridge which worked on GPL and elec. nightmare! If you run out of gas as we did in the night, off grid! Hard to find a AutoGas station. North of Spain. And we found in high heat the fridge was not working properly. Ice cream defrosted, before gas ran out. Even. Cooking was taking longer. Yesyerday in a Camping Car showroom, thecman said no fridges can run off diesel!! Surprised to hear differently with your video. Thank you. Hymer is the dream that most can’t have but its good to know what ti look for and what extras are worth putting in? I saw a Van with a 120w solar panel and asked if there was room for more, the sales man said What for? Can you tell me what would be the difference in having 2 or 3??
I've always liked the 580 but thought the interiors were a bit drab, but the new Venture S styling really transforms it! The thing i like about your reviews is that you actually do your research and know your facts which is what us potential buyers need to know so thank you for an excellent video. I hope this will be at the NEC in October so i can see it in the flesh.
What a super van Andrew. It's a dream. However, €150k is about 3 times what I paid for my hobby in 2021. (3 times) I think I have the perfect length too at 6.78 (6.8) with the 580 just a tad longer. I'm very happy with my Hobby and to be honest, looking at the Hymer is like taking your wife to Pattaya in Thailand. Not a good idea. Nevertheless, loved your presentation as always. Thanks.
Please why isn't it brought to America. Wonderful, beautiful company that made this RV bring to America the RV this one if affordable I make this my expedition vehicle because it look it can go through four season and comfortable. Hymer you are one word BEAUTIFUL.
I'm not sure about the compressor fridge. Basically, it uses half the energy of an absorbtion fridge of the same size. However, I have 5.4kw of batteries. They discharge to about 50% over night. (12 hours). On gas however, my 2x 15kg LPG tanks could last for 2 months. The compressor fridge would last for twice as long on batteries, i.e. 24 hours to 50%. There's just no comparison between 1 day and 2 months.
@@andrewjditton I've looked into solar also. My 133lt Dometic absorbtion fridge uses 50% of my batteries in 12 hours that's 2.6kWh. That would be the same for a compressor fridge but for 24 hours. I would need 400W of solar for 6.5 hours or no fridge. I looked at some 400W solar panels and they're about 30kg and they're big. You have enough knowledge and experience to know that 400W for 6.5 hours is mmmmm. In my opinion, it will only work with shore power and completely covering that beautiful machine in ugly solar panels would make me want to cry.
Hi Andrew, that is a nice van lot of money though, btw while you are at the show any update on the Dethleffs e- caravan going into production, I want to get an EV but most are not compliant a e- van would sort that...thanks for great coverage..
@@andrewjditton Thanks Andrew, look forward to that, but wouldn't it be great to have a battery pack under your van to help increase range.. maybe someone will come up with a kit...Dethleffs must have the control software more or less sorted..
12 OCT 2023. Are these available in Canada? 150,000.00 euros is approx. $192,000.00 canadian! If they are, then one might see them only in our larger centers. This one is on my bucket list!😀
The decision for diesel heating is a very good one. I'm just wondering, why doesn't Hymer opt for a fold-down bed? There would be space for a sufficiently large seating area. The bed is only needed at night. This would be optimal for a 2-person version. The vehicle could also be a few centimeters shorter. Warm greetings from Germany 🖖🚐
Very nice vehicle, but a few issues for me, just from what you showed. The rear overhang would definitely restrict where this vehicle could go. From your video, it appeared that the wall lining on the outside of the bathroom was fabric. While it looks (and probably feels) nice, it is not very practical in the long term. Motorhomes/caravans are known for dampness inside and it would be very hard to get mould off this surface.
I prefer a lighter interior to make things a bit brighter all round, darker colours seem to reduce the size of a space quite a bit. I can see a darker colour would hide dirt better but it’s not exactly welcoming.
Was happy to see the separate shower, however the cassette toilet has got to go! It's much too much money to have to dump your own toilet by hand. No thanks!!
I’ve tested for 5 days a MLT580 from 2023 that had around 10000km (so basically a new car) and I was really disappointed. Indeed the Sprinter is a good platform, easy to drive around, but everything that is actually built by Hymmer is not worth the price. The furniture is really poor, the drawers are flimsy and noisy during travel. The furniture doors hinges don’t have any suppression so it is so easy to slam the doors. A static camper always would look fine but when you put it to the test, then you find the actual quality. So, long story short, Hymer is over rated and is not worth the money. And as a general rule, before deciding to burn 150+kEUR, rent one several times to see if fits your needs and expectations.
See I’m from the UK and have been motorhoming for about 5 years, I’m of the mind to just get an American made Fifth wheel and Ford F-450. Just seems like better quality control compared to European Style campers.
Why the hell would you have jack stands under a $150k couch??? No self leveling system??? Love the bed room! Front half is no different then the Airstream…
Bed layout isn't very "friendly" - essentially x2 singles! The spare wheel hung on the back is not great- easily stolen, exposed to UV and not very pretty.
What most never understand with motorhome design, is deliberate poor natural light designs. Many motorhome discussion groups, always, always state, natural light, open space (Even to the detriment within reason of storage). This motorhome has neither of these 2 key elements, so will be a very bespoke customer who would like such a vehicle in this layout. Another Coffin motorhome & not for the majority one would guess from motorhome feedback surveys. Every manufacturer talks quality, yet to be honest, it is honestly rarely seen by any large manufacturer, as like all things in the big commercial business world, it is all about the increase % of profit making and any illusion of quality that supports this aim makes owners and shareholders happy. Customer focus, died a long-time ago, sadly.
In a word: "Fabulous"
Thanks for showing us such luxury. I liked the Bamboo one best. It has so many features and didn’t look huge.
I think it is the best 4x4 motorhome for me in caravan salon 2023 Andrew.
Already on my way to Caravan Salon to see this Beauty live
Fantastic Andrew, thank you, and a Happy Birthday to you 🎈🎁 xx🎉😊
Very nice that and with the Mercedes power plant up front makes it perfect for us. Another one for the Lottery wish list.

Aww thanks Anne. I'm about to put the laptop down, honest... ;)
Thank goodness we have some style. Away from the usual beige plus some good innovations…impressive.
Fantastic Andrew is back and doing a job he loves. Made my day 😊.
Pure class and high quality from Hymer. Wouldn't expect any more, well done to them. Well done to you Andrew for getting an exclusive.
Great review... I love Hymer... this would be my Caravan Choice... without a doubt...
Happy Birthday Andrew! ❤️ from 🇨🇦
Love Hymer, I’ve got one! x Jo in France 🇫🇷
Nice use of bamboo throughout. The faucet instal is pretty awesome too, great use of design. The video editing is brilliant

Thank you for showing off such a beautiful van. I’m watching in my van ( not a Hymer but I love it) in sunny Devon.😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a van - love it ❤
Couldn't afford the insurance, let alone the van! Very classy piece of kit, worried it would be a target on my drive. Good video, thanks.
Love it, just need those winning lottery numbers now
Beautiful I just have to buy a lotto ticket 🥰
That price is VERY reasonable! Thanks for this!

Does the bed have an additional piece that you can drop in so that you can get your snuggle on with your significant other?
only a 1800 watt inverter, should have a 3000 watt inverter, i like the bamboo one best.
is there an option for microwave or conventional oven ?

If anybody is interested in the German pronunciation of HYMER, the Y is like the ü in Düsseldorf i.e. Hümer..
