Even as a caravanner, I really like what Adria have done with the design of this vehicle. What wasn't touched upon and was hidden by the show staircase at the rear, was the towing capabilities and whether a towbar was or can be fitted. If I were ever to swap my caravan for a campervan, it would be because i would want to tow another type of trailer such as a boat trailer for example. Or perhaps a small off-road trailer such as those sold in South Africa by the likes of Bushwakka, Echo and others when I need extra sleeping quarters or to carry extra equipment of one sort or another. Not forgetting that at 6m in length, this campervan is also capable of being a daily driver and there will be times when one wants to tow a small goods trailer to carry garden goods, lumber and the like.
Adria continue to impress with new concepts and this really takes things to a new level, very cool! Did not get to the Adria stand today but can’t wait to see this tomorrow 😎
Smart looking Motorcaravan , love the interior , especially the walnut fittings , loved the shower room /toilet ,very sleek , plenty of storage , gets my vote , wish I was a healthy , fit 50 year old , I am afraid , those days are long gone , but good to see what is available out there , may I say Andrew you are looking in the picture of health and do I sense a twinkle in you eye , happy days 😊❤😊
It's nice to see that they have done a 6m version, too many converters go straight to the longer models. If I win the EuroMillions I would wait for the pop top version.
Very nice. Personally, I can't see the point of 4WD in Europe other than buying into an image. I spent a lot of time in the alps in a FWD with snow tyres and never had a problem.
@@clownworld-honk410 merely a comment to show that a 4x4 camper is not a bad idea, IF one is going onto beaches or wet Scottish fields wild camping. There are a number of comments that seem to think it is wasted money?
@@larrywinning5183 OK chief. If you're hammering these campervans in muddy, wet, uneven terrain, they may pull you through but the internals like cabinets, fridge freezers etc get ripped from their mounts so it's never a good idea to go anywhere where 4WD is the only option.

I also had a vw California 4x4 with locking diff. which I raised with Seikle suspension 2.5" and we used it in France over 4 years, also used it and did Skye and N.W. 500 Regularly. Used Land Rovers 88", 109" 127" while serving in 🪂Regt. and defenders 90, 110 and a 130 which my daughter "borrowed" from me. Never to be returned. 😂 I think in my 78 years I have had a wee bit of 4x4 experience. I assure you the California I had, was so good I bought another one after I traded in the 1st. one. I went shooting regularly in the hills in the Var region in the South of France and I went everywhere my Land Rover could go. The problem I found was in Scotland where despite excellent tyres and diff. I finally had to have a Tractor from my neighbour pull me out of a silly night time foxing shoot as I had not realised how bad it was. Honestly apart from that both California’s were excellent and nothing ever went wrong with either. Perhaps others of different makes have been unlucky? 👍🪂🫡
I have an induction hot plate now in my home kitchen & love it. Would not have gas bottles in my car! Please someone put these into camper vans . Then I would buy one.
Impressive that Adria have managed to fit a front lounge into a 6m van. This is the best layout I have seen for a while and is similar to a Winnebago Solis which is not generally available in Europe. If there was an option without the 4WD I would be very interested.
Nice try Adria but you missed the mark. Stop making things electric that don’t need to be like draws. It’s just another thing to go wrong. Nice bathroom. The interior design does not work together. It’s trying to be to many things and doesn’t meet any of them. Even the wheel bar lacks that rugged look of other makes. Like the bed.
The Adria has jumped into the battle for rare buyers in the premum 4x4 segment. The price will be most likely €160000 (because they have a price for unequipped 2WD Fiat/Man above €100000). Cmon Adria, you need to focus on quality in your regular Coral, Twin motorhomes and trailers...
It's a fairly safe bet that the only time that the majority of these 4 x 4 vehicles go offroad is when they pull up onto the footpath outside of the children's (or more likely grandchildren's) schools.
That may be so, but is there a problem with people that never go off-road buying 4X4 vehicles? The way I see it is that the more people that purchase a product, the more likely it will remain on the market and also potentially become cheaper. In many countries (markets), having a 4X4 is beneficial as they are here in Japan where the winters see heavy to extreme snowfall in many areas and there are often deep ruts in the snow and the added height helps to prevent getting grounded. Adria is very popular here and I think that you are passing judgement on this genre of vehicle solely on purchasing and social behaviour in the UK.
@@andrewjones-productions I've got a truck camper sitting on the back of a 4x4 Isuzu pick up and one of the main benefits is that I get to drive where other campers fear to go. That means sunrises and sunsets on deserted beaches, especially in Scotland. What amazes me is the number of people with 4x4s that never go on anything rougher than a well gravelled track and never get splattered in mud. I appreciate your point about the more that people buy them, the more the manufacturers will make them so I ought to shut up because there could be a glut of used 4x4s on the market in a few years time that are in showroom condition.
I think you're missing the point of 4x4 in a camper. Yes, you might never go off road, but I've used the four wheel drive system in my van on very wet camp sites when I've parked on grass and had heavy rain over night. I've used it to help others pull their caravans off a field too. 4x4 also opens up all year round touring, try going to Norway or Sweden in the winter, you can do it in a two wheel drive vehicle but get one or both of those wheels stuck on snow and ice and you're in a whole world of pain. It's horses for courses and you do you, but please don't have at go at other people's choices.

The lake is famous for its carp and a lot of visitors come who don't know that parking outside of the designated areas is like asking to get bogged down. In most of England we only get about 2 days of snow each year and so many people don't know how to drive in it that any road with a slight incline gets blocked within 10 minutes.
I love the little practical details that would make living in this vehicle so much simpler.

There are plenty of 2WD Adria Twins on a Fiat and on an MAN chassis. DO check out their website.

It is very stylish and practical but way too expensive, no need for that 4x4 look anywhere in Europe, just have winter tyres or all season ones.
