The game is finally here! I wish it was in English though! I like the series mainly because of its success mode (where you can date cute anime girls and maybe marry one too, which is why I love the success mode), Pawafes (which I hear is very fun and easy to get into without knowing any Japanese, and Eikan Nine (which I hear pretty addictive and is easy to loose yourself into). I really hope one day Konami chooses to release it in full form in all its Japanesey glory, and not some butchered, crappy attempt like WBSC Baseball, which I was completely disinterested in despite being in English and only costing a dollar (it also had no success mode, which was another factor). I wish Konami could do what Bandai Namco did by releasing Hong Kong and Southeast Asian versions (they might not have NPB teams and might instead have different or no teams, but that's not what I hear for, at least me anyway) and give em English and maybe also give the Japanese version an English option (like they did with Super Robot Wars 30 and Super Robot Wars T, which had no American releases on consoles). Another case of this happening is with Umamusume: Pretty Derby - Party Dash. Despite having no American release, both the Japanese and Hong Kong versions have English. So there is a possibility that Pawapuro could have that. But alas, it will never happen (and the chances of that extremely low) and we might never see Pawapuro in the form and way that the developers wanted and intended (and the way that I wanted too). And wasn't that Ohtani sleeve a preorder bonus?
I hope you talk about the fact that they finally let users use custom teams in my life (career mode) if you plan to make a reveiw video. Imo this feature is a very big deal due to how my life work. Due to the 2d visual style, custom jersey need to be make into 2d which take more effort than just using 3d model. Custom team also affects player progresstion and team location is a big factor in this mode. All these things mades adding custom teams much more complex than other wester sport game like ea fc or mlb the show. And still this game is the first sport game let player add custom team to a player career mode. Edit: i would love if you custom team with mlb jersey in your review when reviewing my life.
