  • Have you ever had an “Oh, that’s what that’s for” moment? It’s that moment when you realize something’s purpose. We were created by God for a purpose. Your relationship status also serves a purpose, but it’s probably not what you think. In this message we look to 1 Corinthians 7 for some timeless wisdom from Paul regarding life, marriage, and singleness. __

Just something that I've been praying about, dont get distracted with mission trips, your whole life should be a mission trip, go outside to your neighbor that's a mission. You can start today in your city and your community. When you go on holidays same view, it's a mission furthering the kingdom of god.

Love it. To be single means no family and kids, but a life time of ministry and helping hurt people. That is indeed a blessing an labor of love eveyone should want....no worries in life. Who will bury you when you die is he question?

I've been married friends almost 20 years, and sometimes we forget what it's like to be single. Thank you Porch for enlightening me and shedding new light on this subject.

As a single mom of 2 I am not able to get in the bible whever I want to, spend 2 hrs in it, or any of those things. Which confuses me when pastors talk about those benefits of singlehood, because idk how to use my singleness when I have my focus split already without being married.

I'm single not because I chose to live this way, but because I am too broken to be a husband. I choose to remain single permanently because to try and date someone would destroy them. I live by myself and don't interact with people in most settings!

Is the goal of dating is to get married and have kids eventually? Not just a companion?

Prolonged involuntary singleness is a trial. The gift of singleness is a false teaching
