I'm enjoying what matt has to say!!!
Get this guy back on the pod, really enjoyed his knowledge and perspective.
Matt is one of the best out there, and QB coaches/teams trust his evaluations
This was way cool
ALL I KNOW MY LAST 54 YEARS AS A FAN I THINK THIS KID WILL BE A ICON WITHIN OUR CULTURE OF COLORADO FOOTBALL. AND YES I AM SCREAMING !!!!
Dude enough with the sleeves!
@@mikecarter2500 ?
Love it
If you put in the work to watch Bo's tape, the kid can flat out run. With Penix, we just didn't see it in college (look at his stats). With Nix? We saw it at Auburn and Oregon. There's a little Steve Young to Nix's game (not a 1 to 1 comparison, but it's there sometimes and you'll see it on film).
I think Bo is MORE athletic than Mitch Trubisky. He's sneaky athletic. You don't expect it looking at him, but once again, just go watch the film. It's there.
Tell em
He's not "sneaky athletic". He's just athletic.
Good show boys!
So, this guy thinks Denver should sit the rookie QB with the most college experience ever, who is also the most talented QB on the roster. And is a better match for what Payton wants to do on offense. Yeah, totally makes sense.🙄
Leap to the pro game is still HUGE. I’m all for using up Zach Wilson while we’ve got him for sub-$3m in what’s still likely to be a losing season. If he stinks, let him add losses to his résumé and release him in January. looks good, tag him & trade him for draft capital. If he looks great…well, that’s a nice problem to have.
I would rather use Wilson up during a rebuild year and let Bo progress in a planned progression. Rather Than throw him in the deep end and see if he sinks or swim.
You guys should try and get Joel Klatt on.
Nix is ready
I believe in Bo Nix. Look he’s started 5 years in college and he just might be the most NFL ready out of this QB class. Start him week 1 and just play him. Live with the growing pains. He’s already 24. I don’t subscribe to sitting him this year because it’s not like we have and Alex Smith to mentor him.
It's about system
Get a straw
Did Bo have as goid a team as Michigan did when he played at Oregon?
No close but no
Nope. Just look at the draft for evidence of that. Other than the Center, none of his offense went high. J.J. had a loaded team. Loaded run game and defense.
Are Brady and Montana rocket arm QBs?
Not at all. Neither was Peyton Manning even before the surgeries. Peyton was a super computer brain with insane accuracy, drive, and work ethic.
Tom Brady had an above avg arm and this is coming from a pats fan in Boston, his arm was God but not elite
I love you but the drinking a drink with ice is so annoying
Packages? What? No…nobody does that with a qb like nix
No kidding. I was kind of taken aback by that. That just don't happen unless you're a guy like Malik Willis or Taysom Hill. I get the logic behind it, but it's a long way from Marty Schottenheimer and the Drew Brees Chargers.
You need to listen to your output: stop drinking and pouring drinks next to the mic. At least act like you have a little bit of situational awareness.
Rofl...yeah that was so amateurish.
It's life. You guys are spergin out over some petty stuff. He could've muted, so what. These fellas aren't millennial sperg streamers, they're reg guys who talk Broncos lol.
For real! This was giving me misophonia. I never comment on UA-cam videos… but this was driving me crazy. Maybe mute your microphone next time?
Why do people keep repeating the nonsense about Nix's arm? There are some clear examples of him putting some real zip on passes. His arm as good as you need it to be in the NFL.
That whole “ ya know what let’s give him another year” is not what we are looking for. That’s a fringe starter in my opinion, a young qb who you’re on the fence with. We need to finish the season unequivocally convinced Bo Nix is our franchise QB.
100% and it will happen. Unless Bo is so terrible they have to bench him in favor of Stidham or Wilson (OUCH), he will walk in as the starter. He'll earn it too. Bo is a football junkie/maniac. I just watched a short docuseries on him when he was a kid, and he was out in the backyard constantly, playing football by himself if he had to. It was cute and funny. Little dude was out there kicking and throwing. Gotta love it.
@@78LedHead Yea once you do a deep dive on Nix it’s not hard to see why everyone is excited, it appears his skill set will vibe well with Sean Payton
Hopefully you 2 at least now stop the hype train on Bo Nix after his assessment dude was a early second round pick that we were forced to take at 12 because of our draft position. Very raw. He was the 6th best QB in this draft. Which itself is not a good sign. So lets pump the brakes before we have to crucify the kid come Dec when we are 2-10.
The guy drinking on camera is annoying. Don't eat or drink.
And middle out is the king
IN THIS REALITY REALITY DOES NOT EXIST
We don't even know what reality is yet.
@78LedHead let me dumb it down for you . Some people can't or won't accept factual truths and live in a make believe bubble.
