That first attack he was setting up is a choke, thumb in behind your head with the lapel grip on the overhook, loop the top arm to the right of your head for the choke.
@@towelietowel4513 think he talking about when he was in the final , when the had to reset the didn’t give the other guy the overlook back , aka cheating
@@retrovcr777 everyone's journey moves at different pace. I almost been training 5 years and I'm a white belt. Some gyms make you put in the time. If you're training 2-3 days a week it's gonna take much longer. Some gyms require you to have competition experience along with minimum amount wins. My coach always says "I'd rather have strong blue belts then debatable ones"
Damn, a lot of people are going hard on him in the comments. "Fortunately for me, I'm pretty hard to armbar." He points out a strong point of his game, and that's him being arrogant? It's not like he was saying, "I'm a great white belt, and these guys are trash." Lmao! Idk. I'd roll with him; he seems he'd be fun and challenging. I've seen some suuuper cocky guys out there, and he's not even close.
I don’t get this… is this a sandbagging video..? I saw No stripes on your belt, if I’m wrong correct me, yet you seem to have none of the telltale signs of a new white belt. That 2 stripe at the end of gi did very well for a real, new white belt.
Great video. Can’t wait to compete against you again!
Nice 🔺
Thanks for sharing such a great video. Very dynamic and interesting matches. Well done guys!
"gaming" is your justification for what is ethically cheating... so many other arrogant comments too... not cool kid.
literally replace everytime he uses the word 'gaming' with 'cheating' and it makes sense
Best white belt I have ever seen online. Great progression 👍
Subscribed! The commentary and details and the way you bait them made me subscribe.

Nice! And yea that transition was pretty slick 😎
"He's complaining that he had the overhook, and i said, 'nah, son', but he did. He was right." 😂
Training for 5 years, competing as a white belt and you’re still cheating? Pretty sad all around.
How do you know this?
Proof?

No way he’s been training for 5 years and doesn’t know what a cross choke is
@@towelietowel4513 he said he’s been training for about 5 years in the comments below
Huge throwback don’t know why I’m just seeing this now 😂😂 god I was fucking terrible
maybe stop cheating..even if its a little advantage
Facts. Can’t believe how he thinks cheating is cheeky. Starts with bad gym culture though
"he's really trying to pull me off here, he can not get me off" - no homo
Crazy stuff from you man & congrats. Got my first tourney coming up soon. How long u been training?
Thanks! I've been training about 5 years or so, just wasn't too keen on competing until recently. Now I can't wait for the next one haha
@@griffinmaathuis9423 You can train in a *White* belt tournament after 5 years? Seems legit lol.

Nice rolls brah
I'm glad they had the ref wear a mask
You're very effective from the top for a white belt I feel 😃
5 years? Why are you not a blue belt already?
Did he(white gi) get 2 points when his opponent pulled guard?
weight class?
Why would you talk to him for a whole time?

He is definitely doing some white belt things here.
what weight is this at?
4:01 idk pretty sus
Pretty cocky for a white belt 😂😂😂😂😂😂 “fortunately for me.. I’m pretty difficult to arm bar huh huh huh 💅🏻
Sandbagging ronin
cheating against a 17yo
Seeing this many years late 😂 I was the 17 year old
Stay humble kid
Be careful of that kimura from close guard. Your arms were way too extended. Good work though
You lost because you were cocky. Good skill for a white belt though.
you're pretty bad for training 5 years at "white"
