Appreciate this series, and the logical approach to the build. So many clowns just toss on mods then try to hunt the highest dyno number possible... real tuners a baseline and smoothing out that curve, no one gives a shit about that top number, it's irrelevent.

I found that selecting the urban riding mode smoothed out low speed throttle jerkiness. But I switched back to sport mode and put up with the jerkiness to have full power. :) Terrific video series - thank you.
How do I find a shop in my city that will do this type of flash? Will the shop know how to use the same type of computer and software? Is there something that I need to tell them to use when they flash my bike? Will doing this void my warranty?

I have over 11,000 miles on my Diavel V4. It is a pain to drive in slow traffic. I thought it was just me. I also need a better exhaust as well since the factory exhaust sounds too tame.
Termignoni quality has gone down hill. No money spent on R/D. Years back their exhaust wouldn't fit properly causing stress cracks in the headers. Akrapovic by far is the best, fit and finish. The name speaks for itself. Just look at how many manufacturers in Motogp and World Superbike use their exhaust. Back when Nicky Hayden was riding in AMA on the Honda Jardine payed the team x amount of dollars to use their logo on the bike when in fact they were using Akrapovic. They just changed the stickers on exhaust.
With the stock dyno finally out of the way, we can get power mods on our Diavel V4! Stay tuned for the exhaust install :)

The new exhaust has really pushed it into beat territory.
Which engine do you prefer? The old V-Twin or the new V4?
Those old V-twins are what made Ducati. But these new V4s have proven to be much more reliable and pushed Ducati ahead of the competition
Termi exhaust should look better than standard, I'm not keen on the 4 outlets all on one side....just my opinion !

We totally agree! That was one of our deciding factors for the Termignoni exhaust. We like that it has 2 outlets on each side
