Play-Doh is an acquired taste, very unique. I indulged in my younger days but have since given it up.

Play-Doh was awesome back in the day .I mean when I was kid a long time ago ,I did not realize the kids still played with .I mean with video games and other things out there .Also thought just things make sounds like R2-D2 ,but look like a phone or tablet .But Play-Doh sure brings back the memories of my childhood .

I agree, I used to play with it back in the 90s, along with Lego and Playmobil, and toy cars.

I played with Play Doh as a kid and that was so long ago that we had to fight dinosaurs as we walked a mile, uphill, both ways, to get to school. Nah, dinosaurs had recently died off but there were only 3 TV channels back then and if the president wanted to talk that night there was nothing on TV. Playground equipment was made of rusty iron (true fact) and since phones were rotary-you actually had to dial a number. If you wanted to research something you had to go to the library because there was no internet back then (you had to actually read a book). Kids were free range and were ordered to play outside until the street lights came on.

The clay was originally created in 1930 in Cincinnati, Ohio as a wallpaper cleaner. The product was adapted in 1950 and made suitable for clay. The clay was demonstrated at an educational convention in 1956, and department stores saw potential success and began selling it.
    here you have it.

I cant stand the stuff, especially the smell of it. I have some sort of mental glitch due to getting burnt by the stove when i was 4. It burnt 12% of my body, on my back which required grafts and a hospital stay. Pretty bad actually. When i was a kid, i made a pretend cake out of this stuff and put it in the oven to pretend to cook it. My mum was boiling spaghetti on the back burner which toppled over me when i accidently leant on the oven door which acted like a lever and tipped the whole oven over.
Later experiments showed me that it only takes 20kg of weight on the oven door to topple it like this and others must have had the same accident so please watch your kids around the kitchen as my Body is still scarred, My whole back and both legs where the skin grafts came from.
