- We finally need to be REAL about this now. The remote Norwegian Lofoten islands, we are told by tourist agencies, are really stunning and well worth a visit with its traditional fishing villages and beautiful scenery. But... are these stories the TRUTH? Is all the hype about this place REAL? Join me on a road trip to the heart of the Lofoten islands, located in Northern Norway within the Arctic circle. This could be, or not be, the place to go when people now seem to start to travel again. You decide if these Norwegian islands, the Lofoten archipelago, are worth a visit or NOT. Let me know what you think about this famous travel destination far to the north of Europe.
This is the cold hard truth about the Lofoten islands, Norway 2021 travel. The good and the bad about these well known islands and the environment we find this far north.

I could never take a place like this for granted. It's breathtaking! Stunning! Absolutely gorgeous! I heard of this place from a friend.... and had to come to UA-cam to check it out. So beautiful I was on the verge of tears. You're so fortunate to have been able to visit. Best regards.
Hi there, thanks, I made several other videos from Lofoten as well as other places in Northern Norway, you might want to check them out!
Absolutely majestic!.. my dad is Jamaican and mum is English/Swedish but Norway has always been my dream location to live. Excellent video and many thanks!
Thanks Marv!
All these towns/villages have such beautiful scenery. I wonder if these people appreciate the beauty.
Maybe when the weather is like this....usually horrible weather, hehe
Great video and location, rich history and small towns less the 1M visitors a year, I'd be out fishing all the time. Cheers and thank you for sharing and it is worth the visit
Thanks..yeah I tried to find some "truthbombs" and not only HYPE the place, but hard to find anything to complain about on these parts😀,. Would have to be the weather....

Thanks for watching and commenting, the place is incredible. Never been there, but now I think about moving there. Was offered a job there last year and it might happen in the future...
Astonishing ❤️
I was blown away on my short visit, will go back there for sure..
@@sandvenexplorer I wish I could go. 😀
If you want to take advantage of the islands on your own, maybe you should go in October.
Great idea. Maybe I even move there one day...
I want to go. Nice soundtrack with Morning Mood (Edvard Grieg) and Battlefield V
Hoping to head here in September for 5 days. Been advised that this is a good time to visit as tourist numbers are lower and you still have the daylight and a good chance of settled weather. What month did you go dude? Looks amazing ❤️🇳🇴
August, thanks!

I have also heard this about Vesterålen. Many "in the know" like it more and fewer tourists there. In Our time with insta and youtube, people flock to the places they see others promote and certain spots, like that mountain in Senja is where everybody goes....I will keep Vesterålsen a secret for now!!
@@sandvenexplorer Thank you.
Keep up the good work and look after your baby Camry Corolla. It is an excellent car. All Toyota cars are good.
You can get your car serviced in Fredrikstad by the Ed Garage.
