    Hey Cary, do you have advice on how to wrestle someone who is very defensive, avoiding the hand fight really focused on blocking shots?

    Perfect execution. I tell my wrestlers to work into the tie; do not reach into the tie.

    Can you show us some good moves to do from a square stance? I wrestle at blanchard Oklahoma and my coach wanted me to switch from stagger stance to square stance. Much appreciated

    • @KOLATCOM
      @KOLATCOM  7 місяців тому +1

      The staggered stance is the best stance for outside leg attacks. With a square stance it is more about hand fighting and using tie ups to gain advantage. Here are some techniques that start from a square stance.

    Any tips on How to counter a throwby ?
    Thanks !

    • @KOLATCOM
      @KOLATCOM  7 місяців тому +1

      If you know someone has a good throw by do not hang on a collar tie or lean or push to hard. Use underhooks and wrist ties as well as 2 on 1 control to set up your leg attacks and other offenses.

    Absolutely good stuff and then Wrestling perfect a lot of times they say never ever have your arms extended in Jujitsu and stuff but while I was looking at it, I was thinking wow you know when he pops you down maybe he does that if I was a roll underneath roll and then when I do that, I spin and just catch I would catch the leg, and I would just wipe it over into a knee bar :)
