Absolutely love this content. Recently went through a nasty divorce and moved from the east coast to Texas . Your content is pushed me out of my comfort zone and have been racing weekly at Thornhill. Can't thank you enough for the pseudo therapy😂 please keep on doing what you're doing
Come on down to San Antonio and race at Oatesified RC raceway. It's a private outdoor track that holds club races and series races every other weekend. Anyone can come race.
I marshalled in couple of your nitro races last weekend and car looked pretty darn good! I noticed a few times you being a very conscientious driver and giving space where I tend to see many others just 'hack' their way through races. You're a great positive ambassador for the hobby! Thanks for all the helpful vids.
U should post more. Love watching u. u have teched me a lot about the rc car and helped me get my first car, and I have not missed a race day at Hobby action. I love the video ❤
I love this series Ryan! I think your audience like me will learn a lot from it, I only race 1/10 so would be good to do that also but if not all good. Cheers!
awesome video Ryan and a really cool idea, would be great if you can do this with other drivers at different tracks. By far the best bit however was the last 2-3 mins of you guys having a blast ripping on the track together, more of that please the good vibes are spot on!!
The improvement every time you went out with the new setup was definitely noticeable bro💪🏻💪🏻 im looking forward to meet you at a central FL track one day so you can help me with my driving and set up knowledge and if we can maybe create some content since im looking forward to start a channel as well and get better at driving 💪🏻💪🏻
This video was really helpful for me I never knew how to really make adjustments because I don't race I just bash even though I do have a top-of-the-line car
really good video . I appreciated the tech info details along with the fun together. I dont run nitro but learned about suspensions with this video. Keep doing these type of vid, ill keep watching!
That's my home track! Great facility with great people. Hopefully you are able to come back at some point Ryan, would love to meet/run with you in person. I'm very new to the racing side of R/C and will take all the help/advice I can get!
offroad is where i'm the noob since i only have 6 races in my 4x4 sc truck and i have 30 years of racing oval. with 2 days of races on the outdoor oval at newred i have my car 100% dialed in and tomorrow will be 2nd time on there indoor oval that it should be ready for
Why did he say that was too much information?😂😂😂 The secrets they don't want to share 😂😂😂 Not any progress being showed as you as the driver was hilarious 😅😅😅
Try IRCR Rob Gilespie Jr is a AE driver there he's really fast. Some fast TLR guys there too. I drive from S.E. Idaho to race there. Track is located in South Salt Lake City. That's also Broc Chamberlin home track but he races Schumacher.
July 30 through August 4th I will be down in Florida in the Orlando area want to go watch some RC racing where would you suggest going and watching and what day?
@ryanharris can you do a video of some simple things to tune starting from kit setup. Things like what you look for, show what that looks like and then how to correct for it. I read a lot but it's hard to visualize
@Ryan Harris I recently purchased a Sanwa m17 I am having trouble calibrating my m17 to my esc. What response setting does my m17 need to be set to so the m17 and esc will properly calibrate. SHR or SUR. AARON
Outdoor track makes lap times very difficult. First run of the day had the most moisture and traction so it was probably fastest. However, car balance was not great. End of day track was dry and lower grip creating a much slower lap. So our goal was based on car feel for this session, not lap times.
@@RyanHarrisRC I understand. It is just that sometimes, the car feel better to drive but in fact the lap times are not good and the car slower. Great video, I would like to drive like you !
May I ask you, where did he feel the problem with the shocks (wrongly built?). I'm seriously interested what was the exact indication in drive / feel, which corner or part of corner. Was it recorded? I want to learn more about this and this would be a help to know some insights. :)
my guess is homeboi just felt inconsistency in the pull/push of them. Air in the oil makes a pretty big difference in feel. I personally wouldn't have been able to know just from feel that the pistons were wrong, but I think that's just experience.
Hi Ryan. Why back to Asso instead of TLR. I'm a Xray guy because of the good parts support here in Belgium. But it seems TLR and the main dealer Horizon Hobby Which is in Germany got serious problems with there parts. For example to get and fiendthe 22x4 Elite parts is a serious problem. Is this the same in the US? And maybe the reason you changed brand? Regards, Tony
@RyanHarrisRC Hi Ryan. Well, I have the same thoughts about this. I think TLR (Losi) goes more into another direction than racing, such as RTR?? Anyway, if I didn't have Xray for the last 5 years, I would go for Asso as well. Also, in Belgium, there is a better part of the supplies for it. And they are much cheaper than Xray.

Great content, Lee is dynamite at setup. Thank you Ryan & Lee.
Another great video with awesome content. Lee was putting out a ton of need-to-know info about the B4.1. Thanks fellas!!

interesting video. It is possible to know how faster was the car at the end of the day ? (1s per lap ? more ? less ?)

We compressed his car and my car on the bench, he could feel a difference.
@@RyanHarrisRC So it became obvious from the bench, I guess then the difference between the pistons are quite big.
Thanks Ryan!

Parts availability has been difficult for TLR over the past few years. Going to associated on my own expense has been much better with parts!
