Youth Day commemorates the Soweto Uprising, which took place on 16 June 1976, where thousands of students were ambushed by the apartheid regime. So on Youth Day, South Africans pay tribute to the lives of these students and recognizes the role of the youth in the liberation of South Africa from the apartheid regime.
But as young stars we need to really change the way we celebrate this day, We can't turn a blind eye like people didn't die for us.. It's great that see that you really understand the significance of this day 🙏🏾😍
