Around 8-10 years ago, my wife and I went to see Brian while on vacation. I think I had my "take luck" hat on. Anyway, imagine my shock when Dennis Regan comes out to open the show. WHAT!? I was clueless that Brian had a comedian sibling. He was hilarious, too! It was like icing on the cake. No, it wasn't like the icing. It was TWO CAKES. It was a two cake show. Two joker cakes.
I have been following Brian for about 28+ years now and I had never seen this before. Thank you so much for sharing this. It was so great seeing Brian from the early days again and to see Dennis also. Thanks again and cheers.
This family is pretty funny, great to see Brian’s brother. I’m a longtime fan of Brian Regan so checking out his brother was cool too. Also CLEAN COMEDY.
Oh my gosh if I could listen to these two every single day I would never have another bad day. 😂😂 I only recently learned about Dennis but have known and loved Brian's comedy for years now.
I went and saw Brian live at a comedy venue and I told my friend I was going to have to step outside or die laughing, I laughed so hard my stomach hurt until I couldn't take it, that's one funny dude and Live he's hilarious.
I have thought about the "Tom's friend" joke for so many years. This is where I first heard it, I remember watching this episode in college. It had bugged me for decades that I couldn't remember who it was. Thanks!
I guess Dennis is the family's 'Dry' humorist. Cracks-me-up with the obvious flat-tone punch lines, that I never-the-less never thought of. Very original. then Brian follows-up with more of a physical and animated presentation. Brian commits a lot more to comedic faces and voices. Both are my favorites and I wonder what it would be like to have grown friends of the family
I think we were all clueless that Brian had a sibling. I discovered Dennis randomly recently, when I heard his routine about "are you Dense/Dennis" without knowing his last name, I told myself, this guy sounds a lot like Brian Regan. I wasn't disappointed when I found out the connection.
I have seen Brian several times in the last ten years (well, over 12 times) and his brother opens for him about a third or more of the time. It is probably when it is possible on their schedule. Then again, I live in So Cal.
I was lucky enough to see these two in Atlanta in 2002. Both were awesome, but, at least on that night, as clean as Brian's comedy is, his brother's was not! Great show.
They both did a great job; but, Brian's putting so much more on the plate and driving about 20 mph faster or digging 2 feet deeper or running 1 block farther or, you know.
Freaking awesome duo.... Watching Brian do some of the racial stuff was pretty funny cause I was just thinking how bonkers some people in today's woke culture would go hearing it.... LOL....
I'm of Asian background & not Filipino, Chinese or Hong Kong people...but I still think it's LOL funny. Don't know what you're talking about "woke"..but in today's world aka 2023..I would be "bonkers" about people of Transgender trying to eliminate women's rights in sports (not against transgender but when they compete as women "biologically",,I draw the f*** line there & will ensure biological females stay VALID!!
I grew up with people smoking in grocery stores, hospitals and pharmacies. But now, seeing people in this audience smoking simply looks wrong. Grew accustom to today's rules and never took notice until now. lol
Wow. Definitely discovering a downside to comedy from Utube. When I am watching different comics at a rate of more than 1 per day, I am definitely noticing that a lot of the material is recycled. Not just one guy uses the same material over & over, they seem to have a pool of material they all draw from, & nobody seems to even change it up to make it unique to themselves. Comedy has very little originality, for one, & it's full of unimaginative plagiarism. That is a highly depressing discovery!
That bit on the Chinese accent is horrifyingly offensive, but the way the mostly white audience roared with laughter was even more outrageous. Big fan of Brian Regan here, but man, that bit sucks to hear as an American of Asian decent.

It was a show on Showtime. That channel had so many great comedy shows. They had a ton of comedy club shoes and an all star too. It was a great time!!
@@KenAdams426 I love Garry Shandling too. Such a superb comedy writer.
Same!
You said it! Both brothers are a SCREAM. Their acts have aged like fine wine, I’ve loved them since the gosh darn 80’s! 🔥✌🏼
I love Dennis. I know Brian has been more popular, and I do love them both, but Dennis is amazing.
These two are just amazing. They have not missed a step and now it is 2022. Just as funny as ever.
They are both flipping funny 👍🏻
Can you imagine the family get togethers lol. Funny guys.
Amazing to see his style, delivery and personality is exactly the same. Both so similar. Brian has always been so animated. Polished and hilarious. .
That vocabulary number joke was smart as hell
It was the goodest one for sure.
Can't believe I didn't realize Dennis is Brian's brother.... he's great too!
Woah, what an interesting thing to get out of the vault. Looking forward to what more you guys get you hands on!
Thanks, Marc! Stay tuned.
The HAIR!
Oh, how I miss the days when we had hair! ;)
😂🤣

Love them both ❤️

I've never seen Dennis before he was good, and just as clean as his brother
Apparently they bathe together.
So they ARE brothers! I watched both their acts, and I was like.. heh.. same last name. Go fig. I should have know cause the humor is so similar.
In 1986 I saw him in Tampa at a show. I laughed all the way thru till the end. What a fun time that was.
It's neat to have two brother comedians!! They both are Funny!! Brian's facial expressions are one of a kind!!🤓
Love these two guys ... Funny with clean materials
BOTH these two are great in the own style! 👍😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I do enjoy Brian, but Dennis... love Dennis! 🤗
Love these guys. Seen them both perform and would love to again.
Thanks for uploading this. I recorded this many years ago on a tape recorder and have it
nearly memorized all these years later. Very funny stuff!
Wow, they're so young. Dennis sounds like the Brian I'm used to hearing and Brian sounds like a teen.
I have thought about the "Tom's friend" joke for so many years. This is where I first heard it, I remember watching this episode in college. It had bugged me for decades that I couldn't remember who it was. Thanks!
I heard Bryan on tv a long time ago and he is the best

Love it
2 of my favorites! Very nice
In all honesty I’d Rock Brian’s Outfit TODAY. My boy Lookin clean
I loved the ‘90’s!
The first class passengers joke and the McDonald’s drive thru joke are all time greats
Brian is ans has always been hilarious and relevant! What a class act that you can relate!
I think we were all clueless that Brian had a sibling. I discovered Dennis randomly recently, when I heard his routine about "are you Dense/Dennis" without knowing his last name, I told myself, this guy sounds a lot like Brian Regan. I wasn't disappointed when I found out the connection.
Been a fan of each of these guys for quite a while - and never realized that they were actually brothers. How cool is that?!?!
Love them!!
Brian was absolutely gorgeous when he was young here, and he is STILL a very good looking guy! And, of course, he's hilarious!
I NEVER made the "brother" connection of Brian and Dennis! 😳😳😂😂
The 90's were brutal.
Wish Dennis still opened for him!
Dennis has a great special on Dry Bar, now
I have seen Brian several times in the last ten years (well, over 12 times) and his brother opens for him about a third or more of the time. It is probably when it is possible on their schedule. Then again, I live in So Cal.
I saw him open for him in 2017 or 2018 in Tulsa
@@machonor2854 He does, and he is Fuuunnnyyy!!🤣🤣
This was fantastic 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Brian is hilarious 😂
"Are you dense?!" "It's pronounced 'Brian!'" I love it!
This was great. Thanks so much for sharing. Wasn’t really aware of Dennis.
Wow Aries Spears straight up stole that "Franchise in Pensacola" joke from Brian.
Thanks!!!!!!!
the life they had as kids... 😂
I always thought Brian had a big influence on Jim Carrey , but can’t confirm that
I've always thought the same thing.
Listening to Brian, got a hint of Bill Hicks with a bit of Jim Carrey.
You have a point there
This guy is always funny 😂😂😂😂😂💯💯💯💯💯🫀
It’s Bri-Own.
Audience member smoking a cigarette at the show, the good ole days...
I was lucky enough to see these two in Atlanta in 2002. Both were awesome, but, at least on that night, as clean as Brian's comedy is, his brother's was not! Great show.
Cheers for uploading
The younger brother is always the best. No bias here.
You should say "in my opinion,' because I don't share it.
There is a guy on dry bar comedy that stole all of Dennis' jokes but waited 20 years to use them.
Is it Dennis?
I just watched, Dennis on there last night, using some of these same jokes or are you just being funny about Dennis still using the same ole jokes?
@@susanlbk he likely used these jokes at the 8th grade talent show.
GOOD !
Thanks for this 😁
"Excuse me where's the food " hahahahahah every man after a divorce
I’ve always found these two equally funny. Curious to know why Brian became so much more well known then Dennis.
because Brian is more Goofy and entertaining
I think Brian tried harder, especially in the beginning.
I believe Brian had a bit of a head start on Dennis.
@@papagen00 Not in my opinion. Dennis is my fave.
I have seen Brian In Long Beach, Pachanga Casino Temecula and we will soon catch his show at the Wiltern Theater in L.A.
I wish there was a warning for all the early 90s in this video.
Can you imagine if growing-up in that household. Just trying to get through dinner...
Dennis has a brother?!
I didn't know he had a brother, so similar
Just saw a dry bar vid of Dennis and immediately thought this HAS to be Brian’s brother, further investigation fought me here
I’ve never seen Denis- he’s funny too! Hard to find funny clean comedians! Bc I just adore Brian!
Wow, Dennis still uses the Same material
Where'd Brian get that NFL HOF jacket from.
wow....Regans got a funny freakin brother! Same Voice inflections...you know he's blood....half way through
I was wondering why this Dennis guy sounded exactly like the Dennis I'd seen in Drybar.. Ohh!
Imagine the lif
lmfao
Scared yhe heck out of me. 13:15
Anyone know if these guys are still doing it??
dennis did a show for dry bar comedy not too long ago :D
I didnt know Brian had a brother. Their voices sound the same kinda.
Brian isn't as funny without growing up with Dennis.

City busses had ash trays.
Jim Carey has a brother?
Dennis kind of looks like Denis Leary in this video.
There are two?!
Oh if he did that face now.....
When was this?
doing father's material or father doing your material?
noticed a lot of jokes they no longer use because they would be considered un-PC today, this is very unfortunate.
He looks like Jim Carrey and George Bush.
Whatever happened to Dennis?
These guys are form Miami. Dennis sounds like he's from New York and Brian sounds like he's from Wisconsin. Go figure.
Lol
Probably, little advice, if your brother is Brian Regan, don’t be a stand-up comic probably
“Women know more words than men. Can you believe that?”
All the women: “yeah”
That one incel sitting in the front: “oh boy” 😂 7:34

How do you make a crying sound in Chinese? Whaaaaaaaa!
