I'm new to your channel and I've checked out about 15-20 of your videos so far. I just wanted to say I truly appreciate your attention to detail and it's very apparent that you take what you do seriously. I'm about 5 years into my fragrance journey, and recently started delving into niche perfumery. I don't have an extensive collection whatsoever (about 8 fragrances; 6 designer, 2 niche) and I'm trying to replace all but a couple of my designer scents with niche scents that are of better quality and align more with my wife and my taste. I have a few on my list that I'll definitely be getting in the future like Penhaligon's Sartorial, Dior Homme Intense (I know, designer, but a great scent and recent decant discovery) Amouage Reflection Man and Surge Luten Chergui. There are plenty more that I've smelled and been absolutely floored by but my wife is a hard critic to please.
Hey Marc. Great video, I really appreciate the honest perspective you bring to your content. Do you have any experience with the house of Argos? I picked up a bottle of Triumph of Bacchus recently and I'm enjoying it. I'd love to hear your thoughts on some scents from the brand, cheers!
I like Comete & Beige! I prefer Comete a bit more. Also at first I did not like Le Lion much. But I'm warming up to it after multiple wearings. As opposed to Boy which was one of my favs on initial impression but is now behind after testing. One important thing about Le Exclusifs line is their sillage is much better than smelling close up. e.g. Jersey on the air is a more creamy and beautiful lavender but close to skin is like lavender essential oil.
Yea everything doesn’t have to be beast mode. I have like maybe one true beast mode fragrance(Oud Maracuja). Everything else you catch great whiffs of here and there or when people walk past you.
Chanel exclusifs are second to none. Got all in the lines. Only personally dislike Jersey (candy sweet), No.18 (medicinal), La Pausa (weak version of No.19) and Eau De Cologne (beautiful but an edt, not supposed to be in exclusifs) 😉

I really need to get my nose on literally anything in les exclusif.
My favorite fragrance is Chanel's Egoiste. Absolute masterpiece to me.
Best exclusive line of fragrances by far. One of the last few untouched brands.

Le Lion de Chanel (2020) was the last DECENT relase for men. And Les Exclusifs as well.

IDK yet. I've heard great things so I bought a sample set last year. Going to sniff it out on the channel hopefully soon.

I got absolutely crucified in a Facebook group for calling BDC trash. I’m glad I’m not the only that thinks it’s garbage lol
The 35 ml bottles are definitely a rip off I’m sticking to buying the 200ml bottles.
