@@Sam23152what does it take to forgive someone? People only seem to be capable of binaries online. Shame and disappointment are important tools humans have, but the constant writing off of others is extremely unhealthy in any society.
He fcked up, basically (presumably) fapped to pictures of his friends(stapled onto porn stars). Idk, maybe he didn’t even do that much, I’ll assume the worst regardless.
Afterwards he spent months and a significant amount of his own money trying to make amends. He built a pipeline for exploited women to take down illegal (never mind unethical) content of themselves on the web.
The cost of takedowns are now drastically decreased for any victim. He made an actual positive change in the world. It’s ok to have issues with him sure, but understanding the nuance is extremely important.
The nuance is everything, you only ignore it if you just want to hate somebody. There are real monsters out there worth hating, but hating the guy who fcked up, tried to make amends and do better seems like catering to a desire for outrage and sycophancy.
@Dr.S-ct2bq Atrioc did not. She was just an option on the website. While it was terrible, it seems people don't realize people do bad things. Like everyone has things they regret. And he did a lot to make up for it.
