Abandoned buildings St Senan's Asylum, a place with a chequered past

I Shot these pics at Senans Asylum in Ireland, a great place to visit, magnificent building slowly going to ruins like many closed asylums and hospitals. Some parts are still used by the HSE (Health Authority) as offices and kept in good order, the other parts.... well you can see from the video. A place with a chequered history, if you speak to some, its said carried out a great service to people with mental health issues, speak to others and its claimed padded cells, poor hygiene conditions, peeling paint and not much care for those unfortunate enough to end up there...
