I know this is the cruzer not the stol but I can’t help but to wonder what the take off roll is with the Viking 130 ? I am guessing much better than the 350 ft with the 100 hp 0-200.
my buddy and eye were hanging out with some beer and tinkering around with the notion of thrust vectoring in a 750. it would just be in the vertical plane and would rotate the ehngine up to 45 degrees from the standard position. we had just watched that farmer guy with the red and black 701 flying at 30mph around his field. So we got to talking about how it might be easier to "hang" on the prop if you could rotate the engine up ward. neither of us is an engineer but there would be balance issues and loss of lift. he also flies RC planes and does all kinds of tricks with the plane in a stationary , vertical hover, the power to weight ratio of an RC plane is crazy but it begged the question of how much hp would it take to hover a 701? He can set hos RC plane down pretty gently from a hover. I went thru a lot of balsa wood teaching himself to do it. he swings a really long prop and the control surfaces in the tail are huge. makes a guy go ...hmmmm
Next, we want to see it with Bush wheels, and Full Lotus floats, then you've got the ultimate recreational flyers dream! Oh.... don't forget the most important part....a cupholder and tray for Mountain Dew and Red Vine Licorice, an absolute Must when flying these!👍
We changed it from a gull wing, and also moved the horizontal into the body, added vortex generators and some more changes. It is something we did on our own accord and felt it worked great for us (keep in mind we have built over 10 plus Zenith aircraft) It isn't an available option.
Great plane. I wonder if I bought one of your airplanes if you would fly it to me. I am Moalboal Cebu Philippines.... Might need some extra gas pods to increase flight hop....
I love the fact that we are getting more and more Zenith planes in the Texas Hill Country. I’m also happy to see more Viking engines here as well.
Can you fit a different cowling over that engine?
Could you use the same heating system to keep the plane cab warm as a car? Or the AC for hot states? Or is that all removed?

It is a drastic difference in take-off, climb, speeds - you can pretty well max this aircraft out.
Love the videos the VNe is 140 -145 wow are u scared about frame and wing fall apart or damage the rivets ?
Gotta love the Insta-Pot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm building a Cozy IV. Have you mounted any engines on these planes and at what point in my build should I come see you guys?
That would be a really cool install! Put up some vids if you go with the honda motor.

cool ... jan😁👍
Very nice Jan
What mod did you make with the center leading edge and is that a modified windshield? It looks wild I really like that better.
can we jazz up the intrument panel a bit
What engine is being used?
The Viking 130
I cant find this kit the wings or roof line is not the same
It is a Zenith Cruzer, however, we modified the tail and roof line :)

Good job Jan!
The leading edge of the wing at the cockpit junction is different. What did you do, and how much speed did this add? Is this an available option?

I want a zenith CH 801 ❤️🇺🇸

It is a KIT Plane.
Pop the wings off and put it in a container and have it shipped.
and so did you just start walking back to Florida. That's a long way.
bravo bravo
140mph in a STOL Zenith? Wow!!! You've just outperformed most Puky Popcan Cessna's,... Awesome!!!
Cessna can do IFR.
@@gliderfs621 So can a Cruzer - we have many IFR pilots flying that setup. You just have to be IFR equipped and rated
That's a Cruzer. The STOL would never hit that speed. VNE for the CH750 STOL is 125mph
Good grief! 141 mph!!!!
