    I also recommend using GarageBand for drums, and then sampling it into Ableton.
    For some reason they hit different I really don’t know what it is but they sound so good .

    I don't use Ableton and I don't make Dub Techno, but that intro alone was worth the price of admission. 10/10! Haha. Keep up the awesome work!

    Hey mate, I was wondering: Why don't you create a "silent" kick channel by duplicating the kick channel and send your sidechain to the silent kick channel? Frequency wise, wouldn't be better as you will get the best from your kick and yet have a perfect sidechain without affecting your main kick?

    • @MyshkoMusic

      Hmm, tbh it's probably just habit. I never really bothered to make a "ghost" sidechain kick, nor did I bother to make a template with it.
      I usually get a tighter sidechain by turning up the "Freq" parameter under the "EQ" section of the Compressor. That way the sidechain will get signal from the higher frequencies of the kick (so that only the clicky transient is sending signal to the sidechain). The kick itself doesn't get affected with this method.
      It's quick and it works for me, but having a "ghost kick" is good too :D

      @@MyshkoMusic Thanks for the explanation! I was just wondering, there's not really a mistake or an issue in that ;)
      Thanks again for your reply mate, hope to get some money in future in order to do some 1:1 classe with you

    Great video mate, is there a specific drum kit that you use often?

    • @MyshkoMusic
      @MyshkoMusic  7 місяців тому +1

      Honestly, the basic 909 drum kit is what I find myself using the most lol
