I have 2 crafted. Beacon and one for all. Amazing when you're super mobile. Those tracking rounds are insane. The other is slice and Vorpal. This is a monster for the melee hunter build. You are constantly using your dodge, which gives it the ability to sever its next 5 shots. 40% debuff to enemy outgoing damage is huge when you're facing powerful enemies. If you're using a bait and switch heavy, you dodge, one shot with The Call to sever, another shot with energy weapon, and then heavy is doing 35% more damage for 10 seconds. Bravery fragment gives it the unraveling rounds too. It's insane
@TronLennonMusic in theory yes because you can get it to 30% damage increase. But you have to do specific things to do it. Weapons kill gets you to 10%, grenade or melee kill after that, gets you to 20% and then a 2nd grenade or melee kill gets you to 30%. Lasts 7 seconds. Vorpal is just giving you a flat 15% all the time to yellow bars and higher. Damage wise it probably ends up being close enough, that I'd rather take the perk that is always active without me having to do specific things.

@TronLennonMusic In a setting with a lot of adds, yeah for sure. That's why I have the one built with One For All. But what if you don't have enough adds to kill, to get it to proc? That's why I think it probably comes close to evening out.

What almost everyone forgets to point out about lead from gold and that's the reason I don't care about it, IS that If your power weapon is fully charged, you won't be able to pick up a purple brick to reload The Call, you'll need to shoot ramdonly to open space for heavy amo, I personally don't like this. I AM having so much fun with Beacon rounds and hatchling and another with Demo and hatchling.

Countermass + Tactical Mag + Reload Speed MW provides +20 Reload Speed, +20 Stability, and +10 Handling with a magazine size of 15 and perfect Recoil.
I use slice and desperate measure. With Hazardous Propulsion, build up your rockets, melee kill with blade, launch you rockets with thruster, shoot a round, launch rockets.
I like your take on perks but man slice and vorpal weapon were clutch in the co-op microcosm missions and have been absolute top tier clear teamed up with both the solar auto no hesitation with incan and the solar episodic scout with dual loader precision instrument

The Call doesn’t have any bad perks on it. The “God Roll” is whatever you like on it as it’s going to slap regardless. It literally is an S Tier weapon even without crafted perks. I personally am crafting 3 different Call’s, Lead from Gold and One for All, Slice and Hatchling, and Demolitionist and Golden Tricorn. I wouldn’t even blink my eyes if I saw someone running Beacon Rounds and OFA or MKC. It really is an amazing weapon all around.

Can you explain why Blast Radius increases damage? Everywhere else on the internet says the opposite and you should prioritize Velocity over Radius....
its in how it's used and how you look at how the damage is applied... Higher blast radius = less direct impact damage and more AoE damage = good for ad clearing (damage is spread out) Lower blast radius = more direct impact damage and less AoE damage = good for boss damage (damage is localized)
Riptide with ALH+Chill clip was in my kinetic slot all of last season... but this season it's The Call.... I hust can't remove my Slice + Golden Tricorn roll. I will definitely be crating two of my three rolls to get the best out if each.
I have barely touched my field prep/chill clip Riptide this season and it rarely left my kinetic slot before. The call has a ton more ammo, hits like a truck and has no charge time. It's great, but Riptide is great for champions.
This is the first I have heard of blast radius increasing damage. I have my Indebted Kindess and Call with more velocity but I can swap perks around for radius if this is the case. My IK has volatile and high ordance but I wasn't using either.

Guys! I just came back to Destiny and this crafting stuff is still new to me, how can you craft items? Also I noticed they have levels, does the level of weap influence it’s stats as well?
You have to get 5 red border versions... that unlocks the pattern and can be seen in collections tab. Go to enclave at Savathuns throne world. In the enclave you can craft and customize any weapons you've unlocked patterns for

It's the only way people used Sidearms in Endgame Content. I think it's fine for a special weapon. They need to buff Eriana's Vow to break shields in one shot like these do with Anti Barrier.
LOL did I just hear this man say the call is better than indebted kindness? On what planet? Voltshot indebted is head and shoulders better than any roll on the call. Can stun champions, take out huge groups of ads, can use it to go invisible on hunter. It’s really not even a comparison. Slot placement is the calls biggest perk.

The heavy bricks don’t go away when you’re in a raid. It’s a very useful perk if you just don’t forget about where those heavy bricks were.

I would argue Slice is a great perk since it not only provides 40% DR but it can also buff your ability damage by 10%.

One for all x1 is one target hit, x2 is two targets hit, when it goes to One for all with a 10 second timer it means the damage buff is active
Why use a mod on magazine if you have subsistence ?!? A 2 bullets mag would be enough with subsistence... Better get the high explosive rounds
