Just swap the motor for more power fr stock battery and a 21 turn anything motor would fo the job still have good touqe and alot faster I'm currently running a 12t but it's got a bit to much ass I think gonna go back to the 21t stock gearing stock battery
definitely, i gived away that rig for a friend who was not yet into crawling. In the meantime, the Hobbywing Fusion SE arrived and yeah i guess thats the perfect match for any 1/10 cralwer :) for a good value (70-80 bugs i guess?). At least i have the "pro" in my TRX4 and this was a massive, super massive upgrade to that rig
the 3300mAh 3S last really long (>40min´s and it was an pretty used battery), 2S is (out of my perspective) not the optimal way to go with this Rig or - for me too slow.
Nope, i´ve just flipped the jumper on the ESC from NimH to LiPo and was able to use 2S and 3S LiPo without trouble. It is requied due to "shutdown" cause LiPos will have different curve than a NimH battery

How long did your 3s last? And any idea how long a 2s would last?

no i just flipped the jumper to "Lipo" and it worked with 3S (as well as 2S)
