This synth if very under rated. It's very capable and actually pretty easy to program even without the editor. Very awesome demo.

That said - I hate that screen Novation used. It was in the ReMOTE SL and it was junk when I had it :/

Register your product with Novation and then ask them for the original Presents and they will assist you.

Hi, I cannot find the Librarian / Editor download anywhere on Novation's site. Is it included in the USB drivers file or the 1.5 firmware download? I would think it would be a separate download file but it's simply not on Novation's website or if it's included in the two files I mentioned it doesn't say so on the site. It's very frustrating.

Are these factory presets? I'm upgrading from a MiniNova to an UltraNova. The UltraNova has an extra bank so there're a lot of sounds I've never heard. These sound higher quality than what Novation typically includes with their factory patches though.
Hi! they are all factory preset, but before I start to record I change some parameters to obtain something that I like more and then as you see I do a lot of changes during the "performance", btw great machines! thank you for your comment! have a nice day! Damiano

Hi Mr Keys. Love your Synthesizer playing. I need help I've just bought the Novation ultranova and a Behringer xenyx 1002 fx input mixer plus a TC electronic flashback pedal my problem is because iam a beginner I have known idea of how to connect all of this together could you please advise.

Hi Lee, well it depend on how you want to use the pedal, but if you want to use it specifically on the ultranova, just connect the stereo output of the ultranova to the stereo input of the pedal and than from the stereo output of the pedal to the mixer. Let me know if this can help 🙂

Worth buy the Ultranova if I already have a MiniNova? Good to have both it a Dawless rig?
Hi there, to me the biggest differences are the keyboard size and the aftertouch that is missing on the mininova. 🙂
Sound-wise they should be almost identical. If you need a second synth, because you need to use two different sounds at the same time, this might work for you. If you want to explore different sounds than the ones you can already achieve, try something else.

Hi Vicente, why not? it is a very easy instrument to use, but my question is beginner with the music or with a Synth?
With a synth, I definitely know my way through a piano, at least am constantly learning. But lately I've had watched so many great cheap synths, this is one of them and I never owned a synthesizer. So I guess am a little overwhelmed by the amount of choices

Nice playing but the audio is clipping hard, makes it harder to really appreciate the quality of the Ultranova.

If you have the ultra nova you can use the patch browse function n switch the knob through keys n find it, the controls r pretty intuitive so you could find it really fast
