- Long time, no see!
It's time to dive deep into life as a mermaid and all the magic that comes with it! This mod for The Sims 4 breathes new life into the mermaids of the Island Living expansion pack and adds a wide array of new gameplay, objects, lifestates, and more.
Start gaining new skills that will unlock aquatic perks (and interesting weaknesses), delve into the world of Mermaid Mythology to learn about these creatures and even unlock some special recipes, become a devious (or compassionate) sea monster, or become a fearsome Sea Witch by learning spells, crafting potions, and forming magical contracts with "unique" payment plans... Most of all, have fun! Even if you cause a little chaos along the way...

Yaaaas! Absolutely incredible trailer. EA really did mermaids dirty. Thankfully there are incredible modders that can fix the game's shortcomings :)
This is what baffles me how can a person do something so amazing and better for free while a company with $$$ and God knows how many workers can't even make a game work with no bugs

We get this type of stuff for free but EA wants to charge us for half ass stuff that should be free

Doubt this will ever get seen but it would be awesome if pools with "brackish water" would count as swimming in the ocean considering the description itself says it's more salt water than fresh water to allow people to have mermaids in other worlds without having to so frequently travel to Sulani or Tartosa just to swim around in order to get your Sea Witch "Tidal Energy" back up because it goes up insanely slow when basking under the moon to where it drains faster than you can keep it in the green :( i love Windenburg due to it having so many plots but yet a water front theme with a touch of medieval but have to travel to 1 of the ocean worlds (mainly Sulani) to swim to kept tidal energy.
Be awesome if there was an option to turn a pool into a salt water pool since those actually exist, there is already "brackish water" in the game that you can change water sources too including pools so I feel brackish water pools aka salt water pools should count as swimming in the ocean to allow further gameplay outside of the ocean worlds.
Fr the modders do more than the actual devs of the fuckin game XD
EA should hire this mod creator to do a refresh/update on the Island Living pack, especially the mermaids. This looks amazing. 🤩

If you were the head of the EA Games company I can imagine how wonderful the packs and expansions of the sims sagas would be, and, on the one hand, I'm ashamed that a company as powerful as EA can't have an imagination like yours to create more gameplay in the game, and they release clothes, it seems to me a lack of respect to us players.
This is how the mermaids should have been in the game.
Yet again another great mod made my spinning plumbobs. I swear I think EA should hire you to make some of the supernatural packs
It’s sad how teams of like 5 AT MOST modders can do so much more than whatever ea has going on

I like the subtle nods to H2O, they were the original mermaids I grew up with. Seeing the mermaid acting weird during the full moon brought a huge smile to my face. And the appliances messing up! The plant setting on fire! Lovely details. I can't wait to try it in my game, maybe I'll finally play with the mermaids!

Naw the sims team is really talented, there is just a limit on how much they can create. If the sims team came together and made their own sims game outside of EA it would be amazing but of course they can’t do that lol

You are honestly SO talented! I don't understand how EA doesn't hire people like you who could make the game THIS much better! There are so many talented people out there who create amazing creations that I think should have been in game from the start! I feel like they barely give us the basics, then someone comes along and takes what is given to us and makes it 1,000,000,000 times better!

Omg YES THANK YOU SO MUCH your mod is literally my favorite ever. Can you also please add proper mermaid tomb stones? I feel like they don't have special ones for them. Also do you take any suggestions hehe like changing the small blow up kiddy pool where adult sim can relax, to include having mermaid tail? Even Mermaids just have legs in that one snd it'd be so cool to have it as a chill spot for mermaid!

Oh my goodness.... Mermaids expanded was already a must have mod for mermaid gameplay(honestly just to play mermaids at all) but this looks amazing. Great job!

I been playing with this mod for over a year and I loved it. Can never play mermaids without tapping into it. This update though omg I'm now head over heels in admiration of how much I live this mod pack. This Mod and the mod creator are MORE THAN WORTH TO PLAY AND SUPPORT!!!

omggg i have been playing with the old mod since i saw in carmen king's LP and now OMGGG more options, more spells and lots of little mermaid and H2O just add water references! this is awesome!
The last scene was so cute and the kid was a merman so cool

He has made expansions for spellcasters they became fairies and witches and we got werewolf to and now mermaids its either down to aliens or vampires for the expansions if its coming

Ariel is white with red hair because people from Denmark are "famous" for being pale with red hair. The story comes from Denmark. That's why I'm a bit annoyed. Currently, both my mermaids are Sea Witches, but one is also a Kelpie, while the other turns into a Kelpie from the "losing control" buff.

But also H2O with the full moon thing it seems
Correct! There’s a lot of inspiration from The Little Mermaid. :) I also included some references to H2O, Splash, The Shape of Water, and a little Greek mythology. But the mod itself is PACKED with references to mermaids from pop culture. 😁

I won't be surprised if EA comes up with a Game Pack about Sirens, they already had an idea of creating a different alien breed after they realised the ones in get to work kinda flopped

OMG why are they so cute?! Like I adore little Mermaid but this is epic. Father and daughter are cute! Side kick fishes are cute! Romance is cute and omg her hair is so pretty! and that little girl had a littler merman friend is the best and so CUTE!

i'm not sure if this mod still works (february 27th 2024) but i have better exceptions on a report i got today it says the sea witch cauldron is one of the mods i need to fix. is there an update coming for this soon? is this guy still active?
