Thanks so much! They're both great places to visit, but I'd have to pick the South Island. The mountains, glacier lakes, and hikes really are amazing down there!
Being a local I was a bit confused about your direction of travel.....after Mount Cook, Pukaki area did you then return south to Wanaka...? Or was the later footage taken on your northward journey....Im assuming this to be the case as if you continued north from Pukaki Im sure you would have recorded Lake Tekapo township and Church of the Good Shepherd etc..? Im not being critical, your video work is amazing, very well done..its an amzing part of my home country, I visit the area as often as I can...
Thanks for the comment! Unfortunately we didn’t have time to visit Lake Tekapo township. Our trip itinerary was: Queenstown > Mt Cook > Wanaka. Such a beautiful country to visit! 👍🏻
@TravelByTy Yes, this part of NZ is special. I didn't really appreciate it until I returned home after several years in the Northern Hemisphere... Lake Tekapo is a must see...
Beautifuly shot. Great views. Wish I could be there now. During which month was this filmed? Will there still be snow capped mountains in March or is it largely gone by then? I think the snow capping takes the level of beauty up a couple of notches.
1000 subscribers!!! Congrats 🎉

Thank you! It’s such a beautiful country to explore 👍🏻
So stunning and I want to be there now . Your videos are so good .
Thank you so much 👍🏻 Yeah I imagine that the mountains are beautiful this time of the year as well!
Breathtaking. The sunsets over Queenstown!! ❤ So what's the verdict- South or North Island?!
