I have a theory about this and that most of the hate is coming from bots who have been hired by those who control DB. Also, Baby, super 17 and the Shadow Dragons are some of the dopest characters, at least from a gaming perspective. It seems that maybe the dragon ball franchise is trying to move away from GT altogether and I think this would explain why all this hate for GT has sprung up. Shueisha, Toei, Bandai likely want to continue the story beyond the end of Z OR they simply want the end of Z to be the end (and will fill-in the remaining story within the original time skip between Buu Saga and the final world martial arts tournament on earth). Them hiring trolls to speak about not wanting/hating GT in sparking zero will allow them to say "Hey the fans don't want this" and they will simply move on. If They can create the second DB game that does not contain any GT characters (Kakarot being the first - notice how they ended it with the final world tournament - Goku Vs Uub - on the most recent DLC). If they can get away with not including any GT or maybe just ssj4's that will set the stage for them to completely omit GT from any future games. Hope I'm wrong but its seems that way to me :/

They'd really miss out on some good "what if" stories without GT and Super crossovers. I feel like they will definitely include the GT characters, even if it's dlc. Tenkaichi 3 had GT characters. It seems crazy that they would back track on that. And not buying a game because they include GT but not complaing about the ginyu force, is absolutely absurd. Super Saiyan 4 Goku would be leagues above any ginyu force member.
Honestly some of the Characters from GT were great inclusions in previous games. Even if you look at "super heros" they made use of GT and Super characters. Like Xenoverse, they can be integrated as good competitive characters that are classic characters at this point. Whether "cannon" or not originally, they've survived the test of time and even the haters would probably low key enjoy having super saiyan 4 as an option, or super 17, or even the shadow dragons. It's a fighting game. Include the most competition from the entire serious.

Pretty sure these GT haters either watch the English version, which sucked, or those who never watched it and just follow the trend. It could be better, but I've never have a problem with it even now and I accepted it as part of DB franchise.
@MinhLe19303 Same here bro never really had a problem with it I only thought the story was mid but the characters and transformations I thought were really good (SSJ4) and to be honest bro GT is in majority of the major titles so it's acting as more of a staple to the franchise now wether people like it or not. Some haters don't actually hate the subject at hand, they just don't like feeling left out when something spikes everyone elses energy but not theirs. They'd really miss out on some good "what if" stories without GT and Super crossovers. I feel like they will definitely include the GT characters, even if it's dlc. Tenkaichi 3 had GT characters. It seems crazy that they would back track on that. And not buying a game because they include GT but not complaing about the ginyu force, is absolutely absurd. Super Saiyan 4 Goku would be leagues above any ginyu force member.
Honestly some of the Characters from GT were great inclusions in previous games. Even if you look at "super heros" they made use of GT and Super characters. Like Xenoverse, they can be integrated as good competitive characters that are classic characters at this point. Whether "cannon" or not originally, they've survived the test of time and even the haters would probably low key enjoy having super saiyan 4 as an option, or super 17, or even the shadow dragons. It's a fighting game. Include the most competition from the entire serious.

I think, like others have said, there are just some people that want to hate for no reason and some that are just passionate haters of GT and anything to do with it. But SSJ4 will always be an elite transformation in my eyes🔥
@KatManJew GT is basically a staple to major Dragon Ball games now as we've had them in both xenoverse 1 and 2 and Fighter Z even the mobile games so for sure we will get them and I say DLC would be better because it gives the option for those who want it and those who don't. Like you said, whether cannon or not, GT is a part of it all now, and the more characters they can add, the better and bigger the roster, as long as they make the transformations and characters as good as the game is looking so far 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Ss4 was one of the main reason why the bt series is held to this day as the best dbz game series (or even anime games) of all time. Heck they even showed ss4 in the damn teaser trailer last year! So That means GT has to be in the base game im sorry I will not except it being dlc
