I backed MGS and 18 months later, it finally shipped. We played it last night for the first time, and we LOVE it. Amazing production quality. Fun gameplay. I highly recommend it!
The aircraft ballon retriever method of extraction is called Skyhook. It was developed by the Allies during WW2 and is still used today by intelligence and military units.

I am 100 percent on board for Lord of the Rings Pandemic. I've running around in circles like Spongebob shouting my excitement. I'm really surprised that that's the only game on either of your lists that I was really pumped about, so thanks for that, less stuff to buy! As always, great job to you both!

I can imagine the Firemen version must be as well a good game.👍 JT, I have read the Tales of the Round Table or what's it called in English, and I do love that fantasy world with knigths and dragons. So you can guess how much I do love Dark Souls!! 😄
Two things about me: I went to culinary school and I have no particular love of fashion. Roccoco was on my radar for years and I finally get the deluxe, 100 dollar version... only for a few months later see a bakery themed, half the price version of Roccoco come out. 😅
We bought the Deluxe Rococo with metal coins and everything for game-playing friends. One of the few games where the theme's pageantry was appropriate for a wedding gift.
My most LITERALLY anticipated games are whichever games for which I currently have a tracking number. Currently, that's Crokinole, Ostia (and add-on games), and House of Fado (and add-on games). I also backed Santorini and I'm really looking forward to pretty much all of the other crowdfunding games I backed and expect to deliver in 2025. It's hard to pick favorites when that includes Nemesis: Retaliation, Speakeasy, more C:DMD, World Order, Vestige, and other well known games. Some smaller, or at least seemingly less talked about games I'm equally excited to play are Jisogi (worker placement with manga art and themes), Tofu Shifu (worker placement with cute art), The Old King's Crown (card driven engine building/area control with variable factions and its own fantasy art and setting) and Ginza Retro Cafe (dice placement and order fulfillment with vintage art style).
