I really appreciate how you do your videos. You don’t go so fast that I can’t absorb one process before your finished with the next one. Very well done & very articulate. Thank you
I love his tutorials! They always are easy to understand and put into practice. He doesn't hurry and is very detailed in his instructions. Thanks, I needed this.
Hello, Rick! Thanks for the video! This circle tool I have used in the past with about 80% knowledge of how it works. Thank you for doing this video and the related next video, it fills in all the knowledge gaps I had on this subject. I did, however, discover one additional nugget that I wanted to pass along to you. When you select a font size, elements will let you know how many letters can be used to make it around the entire circle. In your first video, go to the 7:29 time spot. You will see the point where you are making your font size selection from the drop down menu. When you make your decision, the top number from the drop down menu, in your case, becomes 82pt. This is shown to be correct later in the video as you attempt to find the size that will fill in the circle. By process of deduction (at 9:21 on the video) you come up with an 80pt size which leaves you with a desired gap of two pt. If you chose 82 then the circle would have filled completely around 360 degrees. I find this tip handy especially when I want to use two different size type or styles on the same line. Hope I explained this well enough to understand. I am no teacher!!! I appreciate all you do my friend! Thanks for the help on this subject! Rich
I just had so much fun making a circle project I wanted to share with you. (I can't figure out how to paste it in this space.) Turned out prettiy cute!
Hi Rick thank you for sharing this tutorial. I have seen tutorials on putting text around a circle be never seemed grasp all the fundamentals. This tutorial was different in that you describe setting up the initial centre of the circle followed by the text and then sizing. Having followed your suggestions before placing this comment, everything just clicked into place. Thank you again.
Great instructions, Rick. I like all your vids, they are easier to understand than most. Question: I am making the graphics for a CD. I want to put curved type around the CD. Is there a way to change the size/position of the circle one creates after you draw it out (in case you see that it must be resized)? TIA
OMFG, I have been trying to do circular text on record labels for a year with very little success and here is the way to do it. THANK YOU.
Your tutorials never disappoint. Thank You.

Excellent! Very helpful video. Please keep posting for Elements. Very few videos are available for Element.
Thank you for this. How do I get the text to start at the bottom left of the circle and go to the right?
I love the presentation. You do a great job of explaining and make photoshop so much fun. Thanks.
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED!!!!! Thank you so much!

How do you make text on the lower half of the circle to not be upside down, or to curve upward?

Excellent. - Thank you for taking your time to train the world for free. You are awesome.
Excellent video showing some little known tool usage. Thanks
Thank you. Yeah it's amazing how many little hidden nooks and crannies there are in PS Elements.
Thank you, Rick. Everything very clearly explained.

Love, love your videos! You are an EXCELLENT teacher! Thanks.
I appreciate your work, Rick. Thanks.
Awesome. Thank you!!!
How do you put text on the INSIDE of a circle?
Great tutorial. Thanks Rick
The video was helpful but I have more words to add to the circle how do I do that. How do I go around and around and around Continuously
I guess my Photoshop Elements 5.0 is too old? Doesn't have all the features you are using... And I probably can't hack it without them. :(
Can you do this in Elements 10? I can't find the Text On Shape tool
Click on the "T" for text tool but hold the click for a moment. Then all the text options will show.
The blob shape to move text does not work on Photoshop 10 apparently. I just get the blob shape.
Boy did you help me .... many thanks!!
Thank you!
Thanks, very informative in a simple basic manner.
Nice video, I already used your tip to update my Facebook Cover with circular text. Thanks.
Hey Chuck, I love that you found a way to use this technique right away!
When I draw my circle, drag the cursor to the circle and click the circle, it disappears. Why is it doing that?
Worked with PSE 11, tyvm!
Enjoyed!
Great, thank you!
Thank you
