Famous Pig on Tennessee Family Farm: America's Heartland

A farm in Murfreesboro, Tennessee has been operated by the same family for over two hundred years. You could say it's where rural meets urban. It's also home to a pig whose face graces the cover of a famous children's book.

In a very small way my fiancé and i are hoping to add to the farming tradition of Tennessee. We have just bought a small farm where we will be rearing pigs and chickens and growing fruit and vegetables. We are emigrating from the United Kingdom this coming spring. Totally in awe of the skills of the real farmers of TN.
