ive just bought a sony experia sp, it currently does not have a sim card in it, when i type in that number that is early on in video it just says no network? it does not bring up that menu, is there something im doing wrong?

If it's not asking for a code it might be unlocked already. Normally to get the screen to put in the code, all you have to do is insert a sim card from another carrier. If it doesn't ask for anything, should be unlocked.
