Here is the general definition of ISOBUS: ISO11783 is an industry standard for electronic communication between implement control systems and displays. It includes the following features: Basic implement control and monitoring, Precision farming (Data recording, mapping, variable rate prescriptions, and automatic section control), Data management via desktop software. A system that complies with the ISO11783 standard is referred to as an “ISOBUS” system. So in short, it's the technology created that allows tractors to talk to implements (and vice versa).

Bought a brand new BR 740 in 2004 kept it up till this year. Had problems from day one with the twine mechanism and starting bales until the day we traded for a Vermeer. Contacted New Holland from day one and sad to say had zero assistance from our local dealer Dixon New Holland and also contacted New Holland and received zero feedback. Have not had any problems with Vermeer. Ask Onlonelyfarmer about his Speedrower {Norower} and his baler experiences. New Holland needs to get with the program.
