My tv won't connect to the Thinq app because I can't connect it to Wi-Fi. How do I connect it to the app if it just says "No Signal"? The input button won't work either.

How do you reconnect the app when the tv is asking me to press OK on the remote? App can't connect because tv is reset and not connected to WiFi yet 🤦🏽♀️
I have an LG TV. It was in a hotel with Xfinity. This TV doesn't have any options to scan for TV channels. I tried to reset the TV without a remote. No matter what I do the TV remains locked on Xfinity and doesn't have the option to scan for TV channels especially analog using sn antenna. I'll try to hold the power button but, that's what I tried at least 15 times and the TV remains locked without the option to scan for TV channels. So, since I tried your suggestions I eill simply buy a new Smart TV from Walmart instead a few weeks.

@@smarthomestarter my apologies for not getting sooner ,I've been through you tube searching and nothing has worked,your video didn't work either ,I was messing around with numbers and I finally found the code that unlocked everything,I do thank you for responding back .
I know this vid is a year old but hoping someone can help. This WORKED for me! I was able to get control of the TV with the app. But I messed up and went straight to factory reset and now the TV is stuck on a screen that says “press the ok button on your remote”. I’ve tried to use other LG remotes and nothing. Anyone know what to do?
Really doesn't help that I have to connect to the Internet to use the app remote when I can't access that menu without a remote to connect to that Internet. Very contradictive. LG stick to Refrigerators

For after reset without a remote I just used a bluetooth mouse, plugging the usb receiver into the back of the TV. It was that simple!

Um I rest tv and now my app won't connect to it and I have no real remote to hit the okay button
Plug in a usb keyboard and hit enter
Figured out a fix!!! Plug in a USB keyboard and you can fix settings and reset it
