I lived in Barton from the age of 7 to the age of about 25 with a break to go to Uni in Bradford. I've cycled from Barton to York and back once.

@@StatusMirror Yeah, I think so. I remember going through South Cave. It was in the 90s. My legs were sore from cycling to York and walking round town, then I had to cycle back. Nice video BTW.

I thought the downtown and the nature preserve would put it over Hessle, but what do I know?

Perhaps, but that would put it on par with Harrogate and Leeds. I feel towns in the top-spot should be exceptional

To be fair it is a score "out of Yorkshire", and Barton upon Humber is the only place out of Yorkshire so far...

Aha good question - I'm cycling to towns near York, not just towns in Yorkshire
