Thank God I was born in 1956 ! I flew from Saudi Arabia to Nashville in 1980 to see these great singers at the Grand Old Oprey and never stop smiling when I hear these two great people singing. Conway and Tammy ......... RIP
yes, an italian classical pianist who became a big country music fan thanks to Conway. I also love Queen Tammy for all the sweetness and passion she puts in her singing
I love this video.. These folks could really give these new pop singers of country a lesson. I'd like to capture some heart like they could. They're will never be singer like these folks anymore.
Now thats the Conway I fell in love with!, this is magical. This has got to be in the early 80's. I use to think WOW! WHAT A GREAT VOICE. Now that I'm older, I'm thinking that man was SEXY! with a deep sexy voice..
This is real Country music as it should be. Today, we cannot really match anuone who can measure up to these three great talentspof all time. I wish we could have a long DVD of Tammy's career and all the beatiful song she sang/wrote/co-wrote so well and flawlessly . Great talents and oh so rare. We love you and always will. I wish I could put all of her performances, live, on a DVD...wow what a great idea any takers???
You guys are so right, there are so few REAL Country singing stars today, Tammy, Conway, Buck, Kitty. George, Johnny and Hank Patsy are gone but with music the way it is they will never be forgotten, They will always live on in our hearts and mind and their music will play for ever....
nice to see Conway and Tammy together song writer singing great songs. this was greatest video I glad did this on video youtube rate 100% good wish see more fun watch this video. music and song come from the heart.
the 2 thumbs down must be rockers, this is country at its best, Tammy used some best studio musicans in world, and so did conway Dillon was best piano player of all times ! thanks makemine countrykeep videos coming please !
@LoveConway He is so missed and so is Tammy.I had the pleasure of meet them both.Conway never love any women except Micky.Tammy still love George .No doughy.
@TheFrankieDee : wow, you really did? I envy you. My cousin, who lives in the States, saw Conway once on the highway and waved him, that was about the whole contact my family had with Conway. He actually died on my 18th birthday, about six months before I started becoming a fan of him and his music. R.I.P. High Priest Of Country Music
what a treat to see two of the greatest legends of country sit down and share their gifts,,,let the "pop country stars" of today sit up and take notice ,,THIS is what its all about,, :::::cough cough::::::: taylor swift
@greenltc96 We get so used to listen and admire all those great country singers and trough the years when they retire or pass away we get a feeling there are no more of them but today country stars have their own ways and styles and it takes time for us to get use to them, try listen to Dean Hall[yes,Tom T's son]or Gretchen Wilson, two down to earth country singers who will be with us for many more years,at least I hope,Eric.
my husband knew Conway and he called him to invite him to eat and a girl named Linda came in and heard took the phone away from and said sing Linda on my mind to me well that blew it lol people so nuts
Like so many do with Kennedy, I can still remember where I was, what I was doing and what the dj first said, when Conway died. Extremely sad day but the bright side....I saw probably the BEST Country Music Concert that will ever be performed, before he passed; Probably about the best 3 men in country, (at same time)...Conway, George Jones, and Merle Haggard. Now that was a concert!!!!! p.s. Thanks alot for sharing this video. I really enjoyed it too.
This is a prime example of talent we lost way too soon and also something I doubt most of today's "stars" can do,sing their hits essentially acapella or in this case with one backing acoustic guitar and still sound exactly like their recordings, even if it was 15,20 years or more since they had their hits.
If a person can sit there an sing at the drop of hat without backing tracks and an elaborate band then that performer is a real singer!
Anybody else getting chills watching this?R.I.P & God bless these 2 undeniable music legends.
Thank God I was born in 1956 !
