Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn performing True Love and Louisiana Woman Mississippi Man on Loretta's tv special Seasons of My Life: Loretta Lynn in 1991
My all time favorite country artists Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn. They were the best. You will never find another great country Singers love them together ❤ 💜 this is what i called True Country music ❤❤❤
I think that they were like a modern version of Patsy Cline and Jim Reeves. I have read and heard that Loretta Lynn was best friends with Patsy Cline and named one of her daughters after her. I liked Conway Twitty's music very much. He was definitely one of a kind. I think that he and Loretta were a genuine one of a kind duet. They were really great. I think that they could be seen as a modern version of Patsy Cline and Jim Reeves. They were really great.
I saw this on my phone and played the video. Loretta Lynn was the same age as my grandmother on my mom's side. Conway Twitty was another one of my favorites too. I was practically in tears myself when I heard that he passed away. I wanted so much to go to one of his concerts. I have his album Greatest Hits Volume 3. I think that their memories will live on forever
They were one of the most beautiful duets in the history of country music. Their music and their style of singing is so warm and touching. I think that they will always be remembered and loved.
The Late Great Two spectacular Country Singers The Queen of Country music and The Excellent Country singer Rest in Heavenly Peace Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty 🙏🏻✝️😇🙏🏻💯
I was 16 years old the first time I heard Conway on tv and I turned around to see who that was. It was Conway singing Hello Darlin. I have loved seeing him sing since then. I am 72 now. Couldn't believe it when he passed.
I am 50 and a half myself. I was almost 20 when Conway Twitty passed away. I was almost in tears when I heard the news. I liked his music. Loretta Lynn was the same age as my grandmother on my mom's side. They were like a match made in heaven. My parents and I went to see Coal Miners daughter at the drive in theater when it came out in 1980. Crystal Gayle was my first celebrity crush. Watching this video brought back so many happy memories of my childhood. These people were really great
I wish that I could have been there. Conway Twitty was one of my favorite singers when I was growing up. Loretta Lynn was the same age as my grandmother on my mom's side. Their music still takes a hold of my heart. They were really great
Loved Conway's songs. Such a gorgeous man for sure. Had 55 #1 hits and 5 with Loretta. Great duo. Listen to his music every day. He left us much too soon. Sad he never got the recognition he deserved. Conway fan forever.
I agree with you there. I was around 6 years old when I first heard Conway Twitty sing "The games that daddies play" around 1979. I was 7 years old when the movie "Coal Miner's Daughter" came out in 1980. Loretta Lynn was the same age as my maternal grandmother. Crystal Gayle was my first celebrity crush in 1986 when I was in the 7th grade. These people were all really great singers. I am sure that these people and their music and their memories will live on forever
In 1991 I was married to my wonderful wife. had just gotten a great job and had all I wanted or needed. In just a few short years I managed to lose it all. If you have someone that You love, hold them tight and show them everyday how much they mean to You.
I cried my heart out the day he passed I play his cd s almost every day and listen to Tre And Tayla on my tablet Every nite They are awsome together love love love them also
I agree with you there. I liked Conway Twitty's music too. I wanted so much to go to one of his concerts. I was in the Navy when he passed away. I felt like a part of me passed away when he passed away. I think that he and Loretta Lynn will live on forever in everyone's heart
They were so special and sweet, they showed love and respect for each other , true they are singing in Heaven they are so missed and loved ,I remember when Loretta would come to Lanier County Music Park in Cumming, Ga in her bus what a awesome day ❤
It's just too bad that Conway would take care of the stomach problem he had. He'd still be among us. RIP Conway and Loretta. We love and miss y'all. 😢😢😢
Tragedy of timing, they both were married and wouldn't cross that line. They were friends as was Doolittle to Conway. She was there when he died because Doolittle was near death himself in the same hospital. It was by chance that Conway was taken there. They had a lot of respect for each other.
Doo had to have been a great sport about all that onstage horsing around. All in good fun, tho. Conway and Loretta were true professionals, but, all were great friends. 😊
He only lived another year and half after this performance. His family fought in court for 20 years over his estate between the widow which was his 3rd wife, adult children, and his accountants who were the executors. In the end attorneys got lot of the money the widow wanted 1/3 of the estate by TN law. Children fought it in the end she got 1/3 she wanted lot more didn't get it. If they had just settled in the beginning probably would have been far better off.
@@carolekessler4848 My whole family loved Loretta. In no way was anything meant to damage her reputation. I could actually see her laughing about it. I wouldn't have passed by Conway.
If only we could bring them back. We once had real country music. Why did it change?
