  • I walkthrough how I identified some early Benjamin Franklin stamps. There are several types of these stamps. I used the 1¢ 1851-57 Plating Initiative from stampsmarter.org! It made it so easy. Now, all of mine happened to be the same stamp, however, I would imagine it to be similarly easy to identify other types using this tool. Here is the link:

Just click on the "Step-by-Step Tool" tab and there you go!
Thanks for watching! Feel free to like and subscribe!

Yo Kyle it's Marv. Again ....thank you for the info on the Franklin stamp 24. Scott... I've got a real good one for you... I had bought a bright light from harbor freight.... I have a super bright mag... Here is what I seen the ten cent Washington .on imp... And perf... On the right side George s jacket on the coller..
Part in the middle an out to the right of the coller. There are numbers and possible letters... Also on#17 and other black ones... Very interesting. Tell me what you think.?????

@@KylesStamps if it wasn’t for all of the great information on the web about them, it would be difficult. It’s just time consuming. But I’ve been doing coins seven days a week for 37 years. I’ve got plenty of time…. I hope.. lol
