Mainstream science is based on an anti-GOD worldview. True science diverges from mainstream science. True science aligns with GOD's Word. Maintream science of origins strictly contradicts it. GOD tells us how HE made it all in Genesis. If we believe death existed before Adam's sin, then death doesn't wage/pay for sin, and if so, then Christ's death on the cross doesn't wage/pay our sin debt. This is not so! Christ's death on the cross does pay our sin that came because of Adam's sin, which brought death into the world as a consequence. Do away with that and you do away with the Gospel!
