You got this Alice, piece of cake to do this for a minute... downturn of 08 launched me as a civilian contractor to Iraq for a year and the next 10 years in and out of Afghanistan. 12 hours a day, 7 days a week for as long as you could take it, usually 4 to 6 months at a time. Boots were on most days 15 hrs, doing what I could to keep the family going. You will look back on this time and be proud of the fortitude you had to go through this. You are a tough lady and will be fine !
I feel you Alice on the lonely part. I go from Minnesota to Florida each week and I don’t even live close to my route. The market is so bad right now that I have not been able to go home to see my family since June of this year. I try to keep my business going and money to the house to help there. I pray for you and your family that we all can come out ahead after all this market settles down. Happy Trails to you.
Hi Alice! Nice to see you safe and that you have your dog to help keep you company. You will have to find things to keep yourself busy when you are waiting. It's nice that you can talk to your family and see them. Once you and Martin decide what you will doing, then things will hopefully get better for your family. Blessing and safe travels. ❤😊
I drove for a company that only wanted to let me come home once a month. I've done many 34-hour resets at truck stops. Do one's laundry and get some rest. That's about all one can do.😢
G'day Alice you've had a long stressful layover. ? Have tried any Australia coffee and do you drink instant coffee if you do. I will send you some Nescafe blend 43 from Australia. Take care stay safe.😊😊😊😊
According to translate, no sirve = it doesn’t work! Which confirmed my guess of: no service, based on it being on restrooms. Suggest you get a digital thermometer with remote sensor (wireless ideally) to put in fridge, and which has ability to set alarms when temp exceeds a given point.
If you seen the message that I sent it wasn't to you. It was for a nother utube channel. Be I pray that you and Martin make things work out with the move with the new job. Oh how is Martin doing? Last i seen he was putting in the drive line and it fell on him pray he is okay.
Eastern PA, (Lancaster-Hershey) is a few hrs. getaway from NYC and only in my opinion is you're going to find the best tasting food, maybe not the healthiest, but...
There is a shipper in northern Michigan that spent just shy of a million dollars to build a bathroom shower complex strictly for the truckers use. Wish more places were like this.
Truck'in----probably the hardest job going!!!!! It's tough, lonely, and mind consuming---as the saying goes, :" somebody has to do it!!!! Keep strong and stay positive!!!!!
I ran that area on a dedicated for Reisinger pulling Uline from Kenosha over south of Allentown Pennsylvania off I-476.. I ran at 3 trips a week and if you run the toll road, it’s just shy of $1000 a week in tolls between the tolls you pay in Illinois and then on the turnpike and most of the time y I ran heavy like 35,000+ and pulling those hills so you learn the back roads and either choose to go through the city or pay the tolls in Illinois, and then US 30 crossed to I-71 to I-76 to I-80 to avoid the turnpike tolls.. and that’s when the trucking rates were higher than they are now, and I still found it not worth it myself.. but I will say, at least you’re now in a better trucking area for finding routes and companies with more options…
That was back in September 2021 when rates were up … yes it was profitable but I could run off the DAT board back then and make the same without paying all those tolls and extra fuel because of the big pulls while dragging 35,000 plus back and forth.. it was hard knowing most weeks giving up $1,000 roughly in tolls when that was profit that could stay in my account… It’s different if you find a company that pay the tolls or reimburse you for them… because who wants to run US 30 in Indiana everyday.. which I actually found a 10Roads mail dedicated run to Murfreesboro from the Chicago area with minimal tolls after I jumped off that…
Looking good Alice 🕶 Join the real world of dragging a Reefer down the road 😂❤ Macy she's handsome little girl , When you was brushing her she was going right there mommy a little hire mommy 😂 I do not know if you know , but get prepared a big cold front is coming your way , I understand 30 and 40 degrees drop be safe take care yourselve Alice
I love your show, you do a great job. Here`s a "heads up", if you already don`t know; I used to live in the Finger lakes area in NY, but worked as a steamfitter in powerhouses all through Ohio, Penn. etc. If this is going to be your main driving territory, I hope you realize that the winters are brutal and it makes driving miserable, due to the many storms that come off the Great Lakes.
Martin must have been talking about the Water Market in Chicago, they tore that down years ago and built apartment buildings in there and tried to clean up the neighborhood, last time I was down there in the early 2000's delivering tomatoes they had a whole new facility that was all fenced in, the old water market was full of hookers and shady characters knocking on your door every half hour trying to sell you something, Jewel Foods is another place in Chicago that can leave you sitting for hours waiting to get unloaded.
I know about the long waits at pennesyvanlia shippers and receivers. At places like York and Landcaster. The other sad parts were cheap freight to have a load from them places. Freight like water or sport drink. Not good. I never had a problem with eating. I always carried enough food to last at least a month. Then I would drop my trailer and put a fifth wheel lock on the king pen and drive to a nice restaurant such as olive garden and have a great meal. Stop at Walmart and see what was in the store that I needed. I had several DVD s and I would watch a great movie. It's boring at times but doable. Except for the cheap freight and multiple stops when going back to Arkansas.
That’s the trouble on the road finding food that’s healthy ALOT of places don’t have Uber “available” as well I like to do my 34 at hotels to “spread out” or near a mall with maybe a movie theatre
Chicago ain't that bad I used to run Chicago from Detroit everyday and I live in Chicago at one time and it ain't bad a lot of traffic but just not bad getting around there
34 hr. resets are a sham. All you do is end up being even more tired after sitting still for that long a period. We have useless bureaucrats to thank for useless and stupid laws.
Alice - Crazy, White Pigeon is 10-12 miles west of Sturgis, Dang I wish I could have met you. By the time you read this if you do, you’ll be long gone probably, the toll roads are expensive, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to make it happen. Stay Safe out there, and Keep On Trucking and making $$$$.
Really neat hauling Reefer loads. Hope everything works out with the new route and you successfully get a house. Martin is doing fantastic job getting the engine repaired for the other truck like yours. Would Martin drive that truck, or is he a shifty (HA) person?
did you keep both windows rolled down so you could capture the full scent of decomposing horse manure they use to grow those things? Have fun in Chicago(probably one of the northern suburbs). Sign up for a remote Amazon drop Box on the Ohio Pike so you can get all your Xmas presents. Bill
Hope u doing alright u need to get home to family family the most important. Understand got to make a living bit I wish I would put family more be safe
Alice hello I’m the one going to send you coffee. I’m waiting for you to tell me what kind of coffee maker is? Is it a keurig? Or do you use standard coffee maker? Happy Travels
Hi there Alice ….you’re in my neck of the woods….i live about half hour from there and go thru Avondale on my way to Cecil county dragway in Maryland…..thats a real nice trailer compared to the first one you had….looks great with those shiny rims….stay safe and keep up the great work 💪☝️👊
Do you really think this good deal sitting more than you run and only one load, that's reefer for you, good luck take care , your in bad part of country
We all have trials in life I’ve been thrown under the Bus myself since June this year just got to keep going

That's one thing I've never done, 34 hours in one place. My sanity is already questionable, it would gone.
No comment on your sanity 😂. Opie would be ok with a 34 at McDonalds.
It drives me nuts laying over at a shipper!
34 ain't nothing I say in a boarder town waiting for a load for 3.5 days
I drove for a company that only wanted to let me come home once a month. I've done many 34-hour resets at truck stops. Do one's laundry and get some rest. That's about all one can do.😢
I’ve picked mushrooms up from Kenneth Square several times back when I worked for Prime years ago.
That’s a nice looking trailer is it a Ceva I wasn’t aware they had reefers
G'day Alice you've had a long stressful layover. ? Have tried any Australia coffee and do you drink instant coffee if you do. I will send you some Nescafe blend 43 from Australia. Take care stay safe.😊😊😊😊

Eastern PA, (Lancaster-Hershey) is a few hrs. getaway from NYC and only in my opinion is you're going to find the best tasting food, maybe not the healthiest, but...
I love Macy, so cute!
First time I have ever seen a shipper have showers and laundry facilities. Nice...
There is a shipper in northern Michigan that spent just shy of a million dollars to build a bathroom shower complex strictly for the truckers use. Wish more places were like this.
To me, that says......expect haircuts and birthdays in our parking lot.
Really enjoying the content. Not the same old boring stuff. The engine rebuild was great to see. Thanks
Truck'in----probably the hardest job going!!!!! It's tough, lonely, and mind consuming---as the saying goes, :" somebody has to do it!!!! Keep strong and stay positive!!!!!
Good job, Momma ❤ Sorry you're feeling lonesome, and proud of you- what a Warrior!

TonyJoe
Keep your head up it will get better. Stay safe out there.
Turn your fridge off for hour then back on worked on mine in t680
Good beautiful rainy morning y'all
White pigeon Michigan is my neck of the woods. 10 minutes from my home
Hello 👋
That's a bummer you had to reset out in PA..
At least you found some good grub.. good luck with the home search.. everything is so expensive now.
I'm guessing there's a low voltage safety shut off to prevent killing truck batteries that shut fridge off.
Did Martin really hurt himself dropping that Drive shaft on his head ? Last thing we see is the thing falling, the next 3 vlogs are Alice in the east😳
I ran that area on a dedicated for Reisinger pulling Uline from Kenosha over south of Allentown Pennsylvania off I-476.. Did you do any good working there? Profitable?

Love you guys!! Can't wait to see your post each and everyday! I hope everyday
Don't miss them reefer days glad mine sits in the yard. Wisconsin has a lot better freight to pull than a reefer or box trailer.
Rocken the Velox 18 shirt. I never had to do this 34 hr reset when I was driving (that was before my time) seems like a pain in the butt.
Interesting video Alice. Is Martin close to completing the engine.? Stay safe, and be careful in Chicago. God bless you. 🙏🙏🙏🇺🇲🇺🇲

You got this Alice
Now dispatch is routing you, and doing your logs . According to another driver. Be safe Alice. 💯🙏🏾

Nice trailer.
Hello there A&M JEZ TRUCKIN!!!!!😎🔊🔊🔊🔊🇺🇸💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰
Living the dream
Love your shirt. miss ol nick he was a character lol prayers he is doing great he comes on once in a while to say howdy.
I have often wondered what beurocrat thought a driver needed to sit somewhere, away from home, for 34 hours with absolutely nothing to do.
Wow I watch h.d c too lol heavy duty country he has the coffee on there too cool
34 hr. resets are a sham. All you do is end up being even more tired after sitting still for that long a period. We have useless bureaucrats to thank for useless and stupid laws.
I absolutely 💯 agree, I think you should be able to run as many hours as you but do it safely but still take a 8 or 10.

never said we would

You can go back in there archives and watch episodes you've missed and you've missed a lot.
I would advise, YES indeed give up couple hours to catch up with Trucking Together. It is a breath of fresh air in YT world.
That ment that it doesn't work
Halfway through a 34
Alice hello I’m the one going to send you coffee. I’m waiting for you to tell me what kind of coffee maker is? Is it a keurig? Or do you use standard coffee maker?
Happy Travels
Keurig
Alice company looking for drivers teams.
Macy needs an eye check up, or maybe a flashing light on the stick would help her find it!! only kidding! she is great !!

Produce market isn't to bad you can stay on main roads
Hang in there Alice in your family will be soon
Howdy Alice! At least you’re not treated like a mushroom…fed crap!
On the last video with Martin the driveshaft dropped on him I hope he is ok.
Good morning Alice. So what company are you leased on with and where will you be running ?
She has said she will not name the company she is pulling for!
Did you check you inverter see if it is still working
Good one but a sad one chin up y'all take care be safe 🙏.
Aww Alice you're looking so sad 🤗.
If anyone's world has been completely turned upside down like hers and Martin's has they should look sad.
What did you find was wrong with the fridge?
They have built a new water market in Chicago it's nothing like the old produce market. You'll be OK
Try Habana kiup
U r out side of Philadelphia, the arm pit of America!
Worst part about Chicago low bridges all you got to watch for that a lot
Love lil Macy she is so darn cute 🥰
Do you really think this good deal sitting more than you run and only one load, that's reefer for you, good luck take care , your in bad part of country
Is Martin ok?
Yes I meant tolls lol
Is that 34 hour reset mandatory? If so, After how many hours of driving?
Not a driver but I believe it’s required after a total of 70 hours of driving over a rolling 8 day period.
🙌🙌🙌
