Hi Jonas, Thanks for this, I am following your tutorial trying a similar effect but with an animated cloned object (it is a blooming flower growing around a frame), I managed to make work the vertex growing but my issue is triggering the flower animation from one side to the other. Right now all the flowers bloom at the same time. I have added a linear field to control the time offset without success, any chance you could advice? please 🙏
Thanks for much for this series, it's super helpful!! Would it be possible to fix the link to the Scene Reconstruction footage? I'd love to practice this workflow but it looks like the link is broken.

Hi! Great tutorial. Just one question for Jonas Pilz. How he created matte for trees in After effects? With masks its a bit slow. Mocha maybe or keying? Also i have problem when i create mattes. How to set them up in composition so they cut out walls. I know when you create them properly you then use composition with original footage and use layer mattes to get transparency. But i have problem how to set it up with layer masks in the mask composition. Tnx
Hi Alen, Jonas here. I created the tree matte using the workflow I was showing at 54:56. Use the AE 3D Camera Tracker and add solids. Then, create masks on these solids. For the "hero tree" I used around five separate mask layers. Sure, it takes a while but it was the best way to do it. Keying out the background didn't work because the colors are too close. But once you have all of the masks you can simply use the whole comp as an Alpha or A.Inv track matte. That's how I did it.
Thank you Maxon! Jonas you are so talented!!!
Such a great session this was. Thanks for sharing it!!!
How do you handle footage with moving objects?
Can it mesh moving objects in a scene, or do we need to mask them out?
is this photogrammetry in C4D ?!??!! WOW.
no....

Hi there, Does anyone knows if is possible to keyframe the grow effect mode from the Freeze field created on a vertex map tag?
