@@poutinegod2564 it’s got a pretty good story if you’re into strategy and war, though the first season has a lot of cgi, if you bare with it and reach season 2 it’ll get much better, I personally recommend kingdom.
@@poutinegod2564 It's a great anime, good story, character development etc. Only reason it's not so popular is because of the amount of CGI in Season 1, but if you keep watching till season 2 you'll be far from disappointed and in season 3 it gets even better

@@poutinegod2564 everybody has already said this, but yeah it's a good anime with really intriguing plot, but jesus christ season 1 was horrific, you can't blame them though, the studio began with very little budget at the beginning and in later seasons where it got popular the animation becomes solid

This is one of the most epic history mangas of all time i promise you, never get tired to pick up every episode week by week in the 4 years ive been reading it, progression is slow but very cohesive, the development is real, deaths matter heck Xin and his group practically grew along this series since it release in 2006
its good but it got boring after big lips death (dude that gave xin the weapon that looks like the one used by whitebeard)
@@sweatyman1234 That's Ouki and the weapon is called a glaive, if you don't even remember these things I doubt you payed any attention in the first place
Its fantastic, only gripe is that they chose an obscure character who had a very underwhelming career as the basis for the main character (Xin) instead of picking someone who was actually a badass in history to be the focus point.

the third season what so epic. i was on the edge of my seat the entire time.
100% need to promote kingdom a lot more, first season is a struggle yes but no one will regret setting through it all 💪🏾

I began to watch this anime 2 weeks ago and now I’ve watched it 3 times. It’s a masterpiece.

I love Kyoukai. she's strong and beautiful. Xin/Shin is a lucky guy.
This anime deserves more love. It gets better and better. First season cgi is very bad but as u can see the animation gets such much better. HIGHLY recommend though this anime is not completed.

I watch the entire first season no problem. Did not know people could not watch it because of the cgi. I did not learn until are start reading comments about. I did not know people were that sensitive to that.

Just started with Kingdom last week and glad to see Crunchyroll giving it some appreciation. Still in season 2 but it's really great so far!

Once you get past the first two seasons the animation is a lot better stick it out, or you can read it, which is much farther in the story than the anime.

Ahh, Kingdom. Some of the most unbearably horrible CGI in the first season. Still, the story is amazing and while not necessarily true to history, is still quite entertaining as a source for information about the time, tbh. Hoping they'll be able to churn out these amazing seasons once every two or so years, for sure.
If only they redo the first season...

Season 3, the Coalition Invasion Arc, was peak Kingdom in my opinion.
The 3 arcs in this opening are good to great, each one better than the last one in my opinion.
I am curious if they are going to make Kokuyou part of season 4, because the arc after it will definitely take up a whole season on its own
to my calculation 4-5 chapters every week is more than enough for the Kokuyou arc,and yea looks like S5 is all about Western Zhao Invasion

Imo I think kingdom is one of the best mangas out there but sadly the anime doesn’t do it justice 😔
It does, just the first 2 seasons that have bad animation make it hard for people to get into.
I caught up to kingdom in 3 days I didn’t care about the CGI of the first season I was hooked from start to finish now I have to wait for episodes

If anyone thinks this isn’t going to happen, well, they are most mistaken. Apart from some tragedy befalling them, Kyoukai is living partly for her sister’s dreams, which absolutely included experiencing the “warmth of a man’s touch” and now she just flat out declared she intends to be his baby’s mama. Not to mention all the other little moments between the two, like her face after seeing him naked and walking away. The ONLY uncertainty is how long they shall make us wait.

I'd say that the lofty peak is represented by the 2 hills across her body, and the explosion comes from the dynamite bar

One thing I don’t get is why they use the Chinese names instead of the Japanese ones. Take 0:52, for instance - even though she clearly says “Kyou Kai”, they go with “Qiang Lei”.

The subtitles are different for some streaming sites, the one I use does use the Japanese names but I've seen ones that don't
