This is really sweet. I think my first character was a very unrealistic Warrior cats fan character. I drew her a lot and even painted a ceramic figure of a cat to look like her which I still have today.
What is warrior cats is it a show?

Fun fact, I went as far as making a blender model of my first oc, A BLENDER MODEL.
My first OC (that I can remember) was a ninja foxgirl named Misty, whom I based off of Goemon from Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon. She was LITERALLY a carbon copy of the main protag of the game. I was just entering my weeaboo phase in 2006 when I made her, and thought I was super original. Well, as original as a then-12 year old could get. I don't draw her anymore sadly, as the story she was originally in has become an all-original story (and my pride and joy) instead of a copy of Mystical Ninja's story, and there's no real reason for her to exist in it. I plan to add her into another original story sometime in the future, but for now, she's just a part of my childhood, and one of the reasons I got into digital art. I have 4 others that were made alongside her, and those 4 are the only surviving characters from that era.
my first oc was a sparkle-cat! she was actually pretty washed out color wise for a sparkle cat, but i gave her an "evil form" and a "vocaloid form" that were 100% inspired by youtube animation culture circa 2010/2011. i don't think about her a lot, but maybe i'll give her some more thought like she deserves :)

My first ever OC was created when I was about six or seven. I used to use her for everything and now my sister is actually planning to make a book with her in it. The character's story has been through so many changes but her design had always stayed the same.
whats her current backstory?
@@shieldgenerator7 She's more of a side character who pushes the story along and influences the character's decisions through a big event that affects the main character's whole life.
Mlp, Cat Marie, Spirit, Lion King, Jurassic Park and FNAF was my inspirations and shaped my current style.
Mine was first inspired by Garfield and then evolved into a flying cat over time. At the point now where my character might change again.
She always ended up growing with me as I matured and gained more experiences. It’s pretty cool!
My first Oc is a character I used to imagined myself as when I was young, and who I still right about. His first name was X-Man, after X-Men, but when I was a teenager, I changed it to Ax-Man because I was worried about copyright laws. Then I changed it again because Ax-Man never sounded right, so his name is now Tomahawk. He gets his powers from a pair of tomahawks he found on the side of the road. He can control their flight paths and turn them into any weapons he wants. He even flies a giant dragon mech to fight against giant monsters. whats the first OC that you did share a bond with?
If I remember, my first oc was inspired by Pokemon and Powerpuff. I created my first oc as a Powerpuff, it was created like long ago and I named Soul. Now it has changed into a dragon and the name has changed to SoulSilverius (aka 2020-2021).

My first oc was a pittie mutt named Jeriko, he was a stray dog and that was all there was to him. He had a brother that had gone through a dark time, but Jeriko was bright and happy and supportive. I don't draw him anymore but he was fun.
This was very cute. OCs are one of the best moments of being young and free. I love all those memories of childhood OCs.
If I had to think about it way back then, my first ever OC was a character named Mallory (said as “MAL-O-ROY”) and he was a shadow like demon that latched onto my persona. He was supposed to be evil and cause problems, but slowly he became more like a brother. He went through a lot of changes, from being a demon into a werewolf, a killer to a zookeeper lol. But nowadays he’s a scruffy human man, who works at a pet shop with five kiddos! A sweet but grumpy looking guy. I love him so much.
This is unlocking an adoration for Digimon that has laid dormant in the back of my head for 20 years. I remember building Digimon OC's right from the get-go and I watched it way more often then Pokemon due to the greater interactions between the monster and the master. Doubt any drawings are still around but damn this was a walk down memory lane, thanks for sharing this with us!
My first ever detailed set was in 1st grade. I had a friend name Jennifer who was drawing advance details. I decided to draw too by experimenting on dynamic 3D like shapes based on dimensions. It went out pretty well. I especially love the smaller details like the computer,books,cable,plugs in the outlet,ect. I still remember it and I didn’t want to color it to ruin the drawing of my 1st grade classroom.
God this brings memories.
My first proper OC with a story and everything: Solar, the albino dragon.
At first she was gonna be some kind of self-insert to someone else’s story, to which then she got revamped after at least a year. I still use her but even then it’s only drawings.
My very OC actually came from a Necrozma Pokémon figurine and was ironically called Necrozma, and I actually still imagine my characters replace the original characters only this time Necrozma is called Asashi and he absolutely loves flowers.
One of my first OCs I can remember, who actually has some sort of backstory, was for My Little Pony:Fim and me making a semi-self insert that began from just doodling. It was Scarlet Glimmer. She was a pony with a horn and wings.
Not an alicorn, just a pony with a horn and wings. I guess in how we saw the winged-unicorns or horned-pegsus in myths before Mlp invaded our lives in the 2010's lol.
One day when I went online to look at fandom, and see if they made their own pony, I was sad to see many didn't like "alicorn" characters and was scared that if I *ever* put Scarlet Glimmer online, she be hated and torn apart...
I worked on it more; it didn't change much.. I actually got used to the "alicorn" name, and didn't put her online at the time.
I even made her family mirror my family as well! (again semi-self insert) And it was just fun drawing them at home! And enjoying the show
A few years later, after remembering it for the first time, I came back to her saying "Maybe I should be a lil more creative" and used my improved skills on her. But got wary about being rid of the original horn & wings, and was like "What should I do?" for a bit.
In some kinda silly compromise I made them invisible! I thought it cool seeing a pony with wings but look like their floating or with a horn but only see the sparks. But again, I got scared of what anyone might think. That I was charging to be ~special & out-there~, when I wasn't.
I was just trying to keep my character, and have fun...
I did do it, and that the feature was a mutation/defect so there would not just be *hundreds* of ponys with this "new" thing out on where.
Some had "invisible" wings, some invisible horn, some both(if they have the genes), some none. Some may even be visible, but still have the genes. And, their magic or flight, they'd be weak. Especially if they had both.(Like Scarlet Glimmer lol) If their wings grew bigger in the womb, they'd have weaker spells if any, if their horn grew bigger, they'd have weaker flight if any.
It turned into a while subspecies haha!
After that I was kinda happy those ideas and drawings. But as I grew up I drew her/them less, and watch the show less(tho still loving it the same.)
The last time I drew this "subspecies" was gifts for loved ones a few years ago. Maybe I should revisit the designs again? Maybe they'll become something even newer?!
No matter what, it certainly is nostalgic.

Hi I'm a teenager honestly become a teenager July fifth and I love art just like you. I'm trying my best to draw and offcorse I like to animating but I don't have that stuff to animating, it's okay because at least I have normal drawing stuff 😊and after I finished watching this video you make me strong. my first Oc I would say was a pony who ran alongside the car when I was little. I remember Id Pretend to Ride her and Comb her hair. She was Like My Pretend Pony Friend. At My Little age I didnt really Know How to Draw, So I only have One drawing of her. I Think Shes white With Pink And Yellow Hair and Shes A Pegasus, Shes Super Friendly And Is always there when You need her.
my first OCs were John and Carl, and they were brothers who lived in a place called Crash Land. I wrote stories about them on a floppy disc.
my first OC that represents me is Shield Flux, a unicorn with shield and portal powers. He's been my persona OC since I created him during MLP:FiM's hayday, and he's currently my avatar

Lovely story! Very personal, and yet still very relatable.
I’ve only ever had two OCs. The first was during the 6th grade after discovering the Dragonriders of Pern series. Drakkis was a simple and lonely forest-colored dragon who felt too constrained by the responsibilities of his role in life and decided to leave everything behind to enjoy whatever he could find over the next horizon. He’s changed little in the 25 years since and was joined almost a decade ago by Stormy Seas, an earth pony ship’s navigator I created after diving headfirst into the MLP fandom. I think they compliment one another well, and have stuck with me through more than I could probably remember.
Regular show is from Cartoon Network and it’s a part of my childhood
The thing that is truely amazing and surprising, is that my first OC was Gamma, He was created in a laboratory with six other creations,in a jurassic park like manner, for the most part he looked like a large pitch black dromeosaur, like a raptor. With bioluminescent green frills like that of the JP dilophosaurus, 3 tall horns, two are on the eyebrows and the third was a bit stubbier and glowed light and dark blue in striped, had three tounges that were like skullcrawllers for some reason even though that makes no sense, and had 2 pairs of red crescent shaped eyes. He also had like these orange hollowed out square patten on his back and for some reason made the botem half of his legs bright pink with a giraffe pattern, with the addition of having five fingers and a splitting ghidorah tail and a FREAKING GIGAN SAW ON HIS UNDERBELLY, he also has a dark blue underbelly, and I especially made him because I love dinosaurs, still do, Hell I'm a teenager and I have my entire room jurassic world themed with a 200$ budget which I got for my birthday, but seriously, I find it cool that our first OCs have the same reason we made them In the first place
Well since everyone is talking about their first OCs here I will speak of mine.
I used to be obsessed with dragons and Wings of Fire so my first oc was a leafwing named Rosemary. I don’t really remember what her backstory was but at the time I just thought leafwings were cool and wanted to make my own... I still draw her today sometimes, along with some other dragon characters I made.
I get what you mean when people call you a devil worshiper. I collect the parts of animals -like bones, skins, and other parts- and turn them into art. And I like drawing pattern circles but everyone thinks I’m trying to summon demons.
I’m also envious on the well you managed to hang on to him. My parents really really really ruin mine and I don’t think of him enough any more. Really happy to know I’m not the only weirdo out here ☺️
My first OC is "Mitsu"
He is a wolf...he has a light grey fur and neon cyan eyes, he has dark grey fur in some parts... he is a wise wolf with a big kind heart (Mitsu wasn't blind at this time of the story)... he was inspired by Jayfeather my favorite warrior cat character
Mitsu's Backstory:
He formed part of the strongest pack all of the packs where scared of them... Mitsu was born with a kind and shy heart, due to that his pack called him "weak" he got pushed away and he got treated as trash... so he decided to run away, he found a place full of flowers and a big, big tree in the middle, he called that place home and spent most of his time there... years passed, and he became an adolecent wolf he forgot his family and loved his home... one day he was reading under a tree and a hole opened under him taking him down the hole... he got knoked out when he landed... when he woke up someone was saying his name.. when he noticed a lake was in front of him and in the middle was a blue ball full of energy... he got close to the ball and as he got close he couldnt see he got closer and he got blind, he fainted and when he woke up he was with the pack... he felt different and discovered he was stronger than everybody else... he killed all the pack and his family and he regrets it

I remember one of my first OC's was a super Nero named Ice girl. (She is based off Elsa from frozen and was cheesy as neck but she's become her own character since then and I love how she's grown with me,she is like a part of who I am now and I'm proud of it.)

I don’t remember my first oc, but yeah. I probably made a lot of like, animal oc and dinosaur/dragon ones. I had a lot a of imagination back then, and I still have it. Drawing just takes me out of the world and I just, I don’t know.

I love this!! And to answer your question, my first major OC is a warrior cat OC. Her name is Blazingsky. And she is deputy of Thunderclan! Her mate is Nightstripe, a former Windclan can.
I can't recall what my very first OC was, but one of the first OCs I remember clearly that I think was my earliest one was a Fox character based on the Tails design in Sonic. She herself wasn't from that universe, but had the same design. She was blue, with two tails, a red outfit with a cape for 'dramatics', and somehow had fire powers as well as flight?
(I had a crazy imagination XD)
I would draw her and even, when playing pretend, would act as her. I grew up with dogs and read stories about wolves and foxes; I think this is what started my fascination of them and anthropomorphic characters. I even had a friend from childhood who would play along with me in creating funny scenarios with her and whichever character she had also created. However, she moved away just as I was entering Middle School. And I remember when I first shared my fascination of this character to some of my classmates, I was called out as a 'Furry' and 'Animal freak.'
Now, I'm not saying there is anything wrong for having a liking towards animal characters. But at the time, middle school me didn't understand why there was such a hate for them. My classmates said A LOT of awful things when they found out and I quietly stopped mentioning anything about my characters. This eventually led to other issues, but ultimately, these comments nearly killed my creativity. But I got to High School and my creativity came back in full swing when I found my real friend group. Though I was nervous in sharing my new OCs, I still did and this new friend group accepted my characters and even encouraged me to continue creating and writing.
And now, I'm still writing stories of various OCs I've made over the years and one of my best friends helps me create these stories and characters. We geek out constantly about what new character she drew or what new back story I came up with and we brainstorm new ideas and characters for hours on end. To this day, I look back on little kid me and wondered what would've happened if I had stopped caring altogether. I'm glad I didn't though and kept holding on. Because if I did, I wouldn't have made the many other OCs I have today, or their stories. So even though I haven't drawn or written about my first OC in a while, she was what started it all.
So yeah, that's my story and I'm happy to say I still write and create OCs all the time now XD
Mine was a stick figure with a rapidly changing face that was a demon but could disguise himself as a young boy named Dan, he rose from hell because he was kicked out but came back to buy a pet human heart with wings named broky, in this universe there were crystals that taught you everything on a certain subject.
Hiiiiiii oh my god I remember when I first found you when you made the spider and butterfly one it was amazing and it helped me though a few things in life but then I will admit it was just a passing thing but now I have found you again and I'm so soooo happy to do so and the Twitter that has such amazing stuff and I'm so happy

My first OC is a draconequus, you know, like MLP. Except she's water/arctic themed, and much more uniform than discord.
Funnily MLP didn't inspire me, it was the artist Lopoddity and her work that opened up my world.
I still adore my OC, and she is always the character I use to warm up with or when I don't know what to draw. She's always fun to draw since she is made up of so many bits. Ever since I've delved into dark fantasy, she grows ever complex.
She will always bring me endless fun and joy!
First of all that was a pretty good back story for this metal dinosaur.
Second, I have a severe dysgraphia that make me also prevent me to draw (I could, but can't do any long lines or a curve).
So, my first OC was during primary school, I was, like today, a fan of the greek mythology, Monarch, The Big Bear of Tallac and Heidi...
And so, during a lot of class when I was lost in my little depresse mind, I imagine a cyclopean creature, with the Heidi grandpa bear and a fluffy bear body, all draw with a rule or a compass...
My teacher at this time call my parents, since, I was drawing and imagining peoples being eaten by him.... (Mostly people that I associate with the one that as make the mother of the 2 bear died... since in France, the death scene appear at every start of episode... and I wanted a revenge for those bear)...
Now I remember him more than the tv show from which I get the inspiration... but also due to the first psychiatrist I was forced to see...
But I think, I can't redraw him like he was.... too long have pass since...
I remember my first oc, it’s name was Scarface. It was an anthro velociraptor that was green and blue, my two favourite colours. I remember coding a video game with my friend with their dinosaur oc and it was pretty cool. Now I have so much oc’s and many more come up :’) my main oc now is a dragon called Conjour (it should be my pfp on yt unless I change my pfp in the future idk) but damn I remember so much now

My first "OC" actually sticks with me to this day. I use her as my online persona "Ani" and designed her I think in 3rd grade? She was always based on me, or my interpretation of myselfe, so it just feelt natural to use her for my online live xD
Hell, I drew her a view times but she only ganed a name when I created UA-cam, thinking about how I could turn "Anime" into a name that sounded like a human name since my youtube was planed to be about anime and games. And after thinking "what are other things I like?" to come up with a "lastname", I seteled on "Ani Flowers". The name I use everywhere now xD

mine was for the tv show gromiti and she was this cheetah lady with giant dragon wings, seeing your version of your oc with the cheetah spots gave me flashbacks, she was from the gromiti world itself (forgot the name) and was a part of the fire gromiti but she wasn't evil (i think)
My first oc was a wolf named orchid and she was a oc from, hold your breath, Astro boy and she had a job to keep different worlds in line. Over time I started to get into Ninjago and I chewed her name to Revlon.
My first OC was named Luna, I still use her for everything, even my gamerTag. She was a Fallen Angel (Dark Angel) and then I made her a wolf-fox fallen Angel so I could draw her. She is my profile picture and basically my everything, I am even putting her into a book.
My first OC is Drawler The Friendly Demon and his backstory is kinda long
My first oc was a cat named Simon who would wander around Paris and collect souls because Simon made a deal with a witch...? idk the full reason but it was on the line of "collect souls and I'll bring your friend back" or something like that.
My first OC was a female hedgehog named Ruby , then her twin sister Mint. Both hedgehogs are brown with blue hair for Ruby and Green hair for Mint, both sisters have pink eyes. I made them during my time in the Sonic X fandom back when it aired on 4kids. The twin part came from my time at school when I encounter twins. For some reason I've always encounter twins in my school life. I met twin boys in elementary, twin girls in middle school, and twin boys in high school except I only know one of my class mates have a twin when i met his twin at high school graduation. Turns out they went to different schools rather than the same.

I dont remember my first oc-
I made a lot of things but unfortunately before I started drawing I needed to get a lot of inspiration I wasn’t always into drawing until I realized the only reason I used to not like it was because I didn’t try hard enough to make anything.
my first OC was Spade, her first name will forever be lost to time as it changed so many times before Spade hit and stuck, i never have and probably never will find out what she was, she was one of those human cat girls but instead of a cat she just had animal features, big fluffy ears, paws for feet, her tail was thin and long like a whip that ended with a fluff of feathers(?) and hair big and curly and just as untamable as my own with a personality so spicy she would alight with flames, she was a cool version of me i wanted to be in a time i was still figuring my self out, it had been 3 years since my life saving brain surgery, i was told i would never function like a normal person and would fall apart at 18 and i hated that so much, i made Spade as an escape, in her story she lived a lone in the Spade district of the White Kingdom and was found by White King, a slender woman who wielded a massive broadsword bigger and was funny enough the ruler of the land - the land split into the Spade, Club, Diamond, and Heart districts respectively- , i grew into a obsession with the number 9 with the association of 18 and how i would prove to adults i would be better than what they said i would be so i had the The King refer to her as Nine in a funny 'cat has nine lives' nickname but Spade didnt have a true name till she got older and joined the 4 aces -the kings guard- as the Ace of the Spade, where she unoriginally decided Spade was her name, she was made fun of for days, theres a whole story with that kingdom i wont go into as i still use the world even today but the kingdom had long since faded into history in its current time line, sometimes i revisit the kingdom but Spade is always at her Kings side, im sorry her story is so rough and i never had the heart to refine it in all my years, it has a special place in my heart

I’m into how to train your dragon... so I made a OC she still is going strong I am in love with her and for these past years I have kept her story going.
Mine was this, humanoid yellow creature and it had crab claws and a scribble head. his name was pinchsaur for, some reason? later on his design changed and he got a pirate hook and saw blades I draw him from time to time and it makes me happy drawing him because it was my first oc and he is pretty cool now that I make these monsters like "Happy"

My first OC was made when I was about eight or so, her name was, and I didn't know this was a place, Miami.
She lived in this prehistoric world, but instead of dinosaurs, she tamed dragons.
Her design changed quite a few times, but her outfits always stayed the same, think Link from Legend Of Zelda but an axe and daggers instead of a sword.
She was my pride and joy until I turned ten, then she just kind of disappeared off the face of the earth.
I only have one drawing of my OC but I haven't drawn anymore in a long time because the spark I had for drawing dwindled over the years and I've paid more attention to writing. But, my OC was a dinosaur/pony hybrid named Roxas. Heh, Jurassic Park/ My Little Pony/ Kingdom Hearts; how crazy of a combination is that? lol. But, her backstory is she wasn't naturally born as a regular creature like her mother. Course it's MLP focused because I'm a brony and still am, but as a casual fan. Anyway, Twilight accidentally stumbles upon the bones of an unknown animal that was never recorded in history (T-Rex) and she and Spike were left in awe at such an amazing find. Twilight finds more than just bones and finds a piece of the creature's brain still preserved. When she saw that, she gained interest in bringing back the creature that previously died. So, she used her magic and teleported herself, Spike and that piece brain that had blood in it. Time was not wasted and Twilight immediately went to work in making an embryo. It got attention from her friends and some were mixed by it, however, a test-tube was not gonna be viable for resurrecting this animal. All seemed lost until Fluttershy stepped up and willing offered to use herself as a carrier for this creature. As crazy as it sounded, even for Twilight, her mind was made up and she wanted to do -- and deep down she wanted to see what being a mother was like. So, the process was complete and they waited. Shinanigans reeled their ugly mugs but it ultimately ended with Fluttershy having the child and out came what Twilight thought was the exact same creature, but it turned out to be a hybrid. A hybrid Fluttershy happily named Roxas.
He is the guardian of your imagination.
He was your first. Your most precious. He may not be in the forefront of your mind anymore, but he will always be there. He sits, waiting for a time when he is needed. Needed to remind you who you are and how far you have come.
You will never really forget him, even if you dont think about him much anymore.
He reminds me of my own. Her name is Ebony. Ebony has many forms, but she started as a pony with green hair and black skin. My little baby who can always find her place in my heart and has been around longer that even my main oc. You never forget where you started.
I guess my first OC or OCs were just story characters from a story I wrote, I wrote another story about them.
They are brothers, Karlyle and Carl. Their first appearance was in a story about the last dinosaurs, I don't remember much about that. But their next appearance, they were older, detectives. Like Batman except they don't hang people over buildings, they'll do it anyime of day and a bit less violent, yunno I was younger. Their last appearance I wrote about was about a note in a bottle, suddenly Carl got captured by pirates and had to hide among them while trying to break out of the ship. I don't think I will carry on their series but whenever I write about 2 siblings or maybe 2 close friends, I always see a bit of themselves in them. They were my spark in OCs.
It's so odd to hear your own name be mentioned by someone over the internet in a different accent! It's rare since my name isn't as common, but now I know how it feels like.
On a more related note, my first OC was a Warrior Cats fan character, the daughter of a female Scourge (didn't realize he was a male until much later, and Ashfur was the father....), was white with a black sock, yep, super original, huh? Her first ever name was Snowpaw until I learned more about the universe and named her Snowstar since she was the leader of a new BloodClan. Eventually this design got turned into an anthro, with an added black ear and tailtip, now called Iclynn, while the BloodClan version turned into Frostbite, with a completely black tail and a splotch over half her face. I couldn't completely abandon my first ever Warriors OC =) I've grown attached to her, despite the edgy backstory.
My first OC was a crazy creature. He has human shape, but his body was from black smoke and big white demon eyes, and he was steadily changing to smoke and back. He wear long red cloak like magicians and he loves dragon. I write a book about him now. I using him for exploring stories of my another OCs 🔥
This must happen to a lot of artists, but I had a friend too who did the same thing. The only downside, she continued to stick with her ocs, which were mine. My ocs were inspired by a paranormal encounter I had with a large black furry mass that wandered on my property. It looked like a bear but bears are nowhere around where I live. My oc ended up being a dog dragon, no wings, large ears, and very fluffy. His name was Grakith. I still draw him very often. He, like yours, has barely changed in appearance.

Omg I LOVE dinosaurs too! I’m a bit young but this helps a LOT knowing my creativity is just starting! I love to draw dragons and dinosaurs and i day dream so much! I have a big dream of making a comic called “Dream Dragon.” It’s about a mythical creature that has all the powers!!! There is a boy named Colton. He is walking through the forest and heard a groaning sound, he went towards the sound and saw a huge hurt dragon tangled in spiky vines and bleeding everywhere. Colton froze completely. He new he had to help the creature, so he rushes to his house and grabs some water, towels, and some deer meat he found in the freezer his dad brought back from the store. He rushes back to the woods and crouched behind a tree. He slowly creeps closer and gets a better look at the strange creature. It had a blue fur coat and a rock hard yellow belly, and a little fuz of hair on the tops of its head. The wings were to tangled and bloody to see. He doesn’t notice the dragon looking at him before he turns over. He really realized how big the dragon was at that moment. It stood about 9 feet tall. Colton froze, the dragons eyes were a bright purple, somehow Colton knew that the dragon was trying to speak to him, images flash threw his mind, he saw a planet being blown into pieces and what looked like a comment crashing into the earth! He zoned back out of his mind. The creature looked at him worried, he put the towels on the dragon and poured some water on it and carefully laid some deer meat next to it. This adventure was about to get better, like if you think I can manage to make my creation come true!
I remember my old oc that I didn’t even post much about (only a video shows you what she looks like but it’s really bad and I recommend you not watch it.) She was a purple cat who stood on her back legs like people do and had these weird fluff things hanging down on her cheeks.

My first oc was three aliens guys that I feel really attach to since I was kid since I didn't have friends during the time and I would imagine going on space adventure with them and save other planets. But I did have one favorite out the three and which that was dimehead who became like close friend to me and which I drew him a lot but until thing's start change in my life and which I stop drawing him for very long time now.
But after watching this and seeing the ending I kinda did feel drawing h one more time since he was mostly my comfort oc and get through through dark times in my childhood.

The first oc I remember having was a purple haired wolf girl that could turn into a dog. I can’t remember her name but she had a green sweater with a love heart on it. I think she was homeless so when she was a dog she would sleep in a cardboard box. Yeah, she wasn’t very good but oh well she was my first main oc I remember.
My first character-ish was this rainbow raptor that I named “Rainbow Raw” (very original), he was the mascot of my channel for a bit and I loved him. A few people called him a marry-sue because he had two forms in which he became a bit stronger in the second (the person I argued with had a oc WHO ALSO had a oc with a second form, plus that oc was in the argument as well.) eventually I dropped him and came up with an oc named “Indorex” which was based heavily off of the Indoraptor from jw. He was my little buddy for a few years and I loved drawing him, every drawing was him.
I wouldn’t say those two were my big FIRST ocs that made an explosion in my art and made me an artist. Actually, it was on oc named “Smile Fox”, surprisingly, I still have videos on my channel about him! But they’re super buried in my other content. Still, he was my little diamond and I kept him super close to me. Me and a older friend also had a fight about originality including him, it wasn’t as bad as actual fighting, though. He technically was my first ever oc, and he’s been living rent free in my mind since 2017!
My first character who i remember was Eagle girl
A girl who was adopted by an eagle who’s babies died and then turned them into clithes for Eagle girl.

I don't know if this would count but I wanna say it does but for my 5 or 6 b'day I got a toy dog family, a mama and 3 pups but I Gravitated to 1 of them and she became my everything. We'd play all sorts of adventures and eventually try to draw said adventures, it became the only thing I'd draw, the people, the world, her.
I'm 27 now and I don't draw her as much as I use too but when ever I'm upset I'd draw her or hug her because I still have her. 😊

My OC, the one on my profile picture is a Croxenian, a large group of aliens that plan to take over the galaxy, these Croxenianz have a huge empire and go to war with planets a lot because of King Cronox, however some love war and others just want a peaceful warless general for once, just because almost all Croxenianz are evil (like the one in my pfp) doesn't mean they are all evil.
That was just a brief summary
My first OC is Fluffy the Baby Icewing that has demonic powers but really fun to play with.
Then my main Oc is Solace/8 which is a Hybrid of Hivewing, seawing,rainwing and human. She basically the lab rat. There's others beings like her. I'm still trying to figure out the story.

My first oc was based off a song she was this half human half deer cannibal/ meat eating creature her and her friends were kept in a lab so they aren’t good socially but there kind of creatures are hidden in dark forests with a lot of bushes that have sharp points on them they don’t have cloths but their fur helps cover their private parts they have different colors on them that is not just brown they broke out of the lab later on in life and live in a tree house the songs I was listening to when I made them was from jack stauber

I can’t believe the people at your school took that faker’s side and not yours that’s sad, but I’m glad you got over it and things are looking good for you. And as for all the insults the bullies said in your past there’s literally only one thing I can think of saying to them: “Dragons and Reptile OCs are angles too and they are also God given creatures like all who roam the Earth. And if bullies (specifically the ones in your childhood) can’t see that then their just jealous that they’re not creative and they can’t draw.”
My first oc was a six legged wolf like beast with horns, a wolf like tail, a demon tail, and four ears. I don't draw him that much because of well.. How edgy he is but you know what I'm gonna draw him again because of this video. Thank you.
My big sister was the one who sparked my creativity by saying I should make a character of my own design, of which turned out as a mutant, but I've changed it over time.
I created my very first OC when I was very young, specifically 5 years old. It was summer when I had first started watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012). After watching a few episodes, I began to really like it. I'd start drawing art pieces on paper with them. One time, I created female versions of the turtles. Although the first ACTUAL original character I ever did was a fifth turtle. Growing up and watching the show, I really liked pretending I was one of the turtles and do many "ninja moves" during almost every episode. Then, I had the idea to make a fifth brother for the turtles, at first to have his role during my little play. At first my concept was a simple yellow-masked turtle named Simon (got the idea from the character from "Alvin and the Chipmunks"), but as I went on with his creation, I began to develop his character more and more over the years, and I started to like creating a character of my own. My basic changes was giving him a black mask, a scar down his left eye, golden eyes instead of blue, slightly different belt and accessories from the other turtles', and having him be twins with Raphael (younger by two minutes) instead of having him being younger than Mikey. At some point I gave him magical powers similar to Elsa's from the Frozen movie, but I scrapped it and kept it as a way to have fun with the character. I changed his name to Danierdo, but after I mixed the turtles' names together, I thought of another name: Deniardo; so I kept that. I also created two best friends for him, twins in a litter of 11, Shadow (a horse-like shadow figure) and Monaxus (a dragon-mare). Their designs look like My Little Pony shaped (I had also gotten into the fandom at that time), so sometimes, I liked imagining Deniardo being an mutant alicorn instead of a mutant turtle. Some drafts regarding his back story considered either him having been mutated, but running away and then being raised by Shredder (the main antagonist of the TMNT series), or him being accidentally dropped into the sewer. The final story I decided to keep was the one where Den WAS raised with his family but got 'exiled' by Leonardo during a fight. After that he'd occasionally help his brothers during various missions in secret before returning. Either way, Leo ends up not having trust for Den anymore, and long story short, Den becomes a villain or rather a half-villain for he never actually intends to harm his brothers. He just wants to prove himself to them. The story is still a work in progress and I have been working on other projects at the time, but I am planning to get back to it sometime soon.

Had an OC once when I was like... 15. The body was of an obscure design to make it look mystic or unnatural. Talking about his design would take a long time so I'll jus get on with the story. I didn't think much but to make it be that he was an alone creature that strikes fear into anyone who sees him. His skin was as black as the night sky and his eyes glowing a bright white like stars would be the only thing you'd see. He wasn't human, more like a dragon creature but he wasn't a dragon either. The only one of his kind. He may look frightening but he is calm and gentle to a touch with a big heart that cares for anyone he knows as a friend or family. He once saw a little girl who unknowingly came into his lair (He lives in a cave to not scare anyone with his form). The child was scared at first but eventually she knew how he was and played with him like a friend. Though his size was large compared to any human, he wasn't as big as a building. He was always crouched down to be able to fit in the cave but if he stood as straight as he could he would be at a greater height than a house with an extra floor. He eventually decided to let the girl go back home but she didn't know the way, so he allowed her to ride on his back as he carried her back home. When he got there he was greeted with screams and fear but the girl managed to let everyone know what he was and what he did and they eventually calmed down and allowed him to stay so long as he stayed out of sight from anyone who would do worse things if they found out about him. Although he was sneaky and silent as he could move like a serpent, the night was when he was allowed to roam the lands without the worry of being detected easily as day. When it is day time, he sticks in the shadows when he's out. He still lives in his cave but he is free to visit them whenever he likes and whenever the little girl wants to visit him.
That's about all I got. If you actually wanna know the features, his body is pitch black like night (As said). He may look frightening but he's gentle and also very maneuverable and powerful. Where legs would be are but a bunch of tendrils that flow in the wind but he can control them like how you would just move an arm. His tentacles are extremely sharp on the end but he makes sure to be careful where he puts them, on the other hand it's just his tail in a way. His back is scaly and almost boney in a way, as well as his entire body. He may look boney and frail, but that's juts the way he looks. His lower 2 out of the 4 arms are giant pointed single claw like appendages. He can't necessarily grab things with them but what he uses to move as he takes one arm after the other like walking as the blades touch the ground like one would for their foot to walk. His upper 2 arms are his hands that he can use to grab things. His fingers are sharp as well. His entire body is made up of a weird design of markings all around him and scales here and there. His head has horns all around it but it that curve around side to side and some going straight or only curving one time. His biggest horns are the ones on his forhead. He doesn't have hair and it's hard to make out if he even has ears or a nose. His mouth opens to reveal extremely meat tearing and bone crushing jagged teeth around when he opens up. His mouth opens in 3 different directions being the top, lower left, and lower right. His eyes glow in the dark but he has no visible pupils, they just glow and the number of eyes consists of about 8, but he shuts 6 of them when he meets the little girl. He isn't very capable of speech such as speaking basic words or any language, but he does have a blood curdling roar when he's angry. A dark flowing mist similar to his dark color emanates from his appearance constantly but isn't bad. When he gets angry or is enraged this mist grows thicker and flows like wind from a thunderstorm. He has wings that would be close to his exact size but he rarely ever pops them out or uses them at all. Only if it were to come to a drastic time does he feel the need to use them.
A gentle giant if you wish to call it. His appearance may be the stuff of nightmares but he kind, sweet, caring, and gentle, but also shy, and gets hostile when he is attacked or people he knows as friends get in trouble. He is most frightening then his form before when he is angry. He cannot easily display emotion with his face except for the motions he makes with his eyes when he is happy, sad, worried, or angry that would be followed by a low growl.
