    Hi I'm new to stocks and trading and I was wondering if you could do a video or just explain in the comments how you know how to read the charts and when it's a good time to buy/sell, etc. Just the basics of it all and using etrade would be amazing! You did a great job explaining all of this and were really helpful :)

      Most newbies fail simply because they don't understand how the market works in general, or in particular how the market relates to the stock or currency pair they entering. If a retail trades doesn't grasp what the market makers are doing and when they are doing it, the greatest strategy in the world will fall. For new traders the markets are like entering an F1 race before you've passed your drivers licence test. Sounds exciting at first but virtually assured to fail miserably. Understanding price structure would enable traders to get off the starting grip and reach the start line. That's why its never to enter market without proper strategies and expertise because it surely will lead to losses. I blew my account severally trying to trade alone and he made me believe trading was a dead end not until I made 7 times on my trading capital in 4 weeks and with the market making large moves and the support and mentoring I got from Mr Michael, an expert financial analyst and he made me learn to read and understand the language of price action rather than relying on lagging indicators through vivid explanations on a learner-friendly platform. So my advice, fine a mentor and also try incorporating the use of oscillator, Bollinger and pivot points into your strategy and most importantly move to higher TFs(4h or 1D preferably), Thank me later. I highly recommend him the brain behind my success. Feel free to contact him if you've got a hard time getting hang of it on MICHAELFRANSWAY@GMAIL .com, I'm pretty certain he'll get in touch. Pursuing trades with him has put me on the path of greatness and I guess this is a good way to show my heartfelt appreciation for literally breaking the chain of my financial debt when I needed it the most.

    Hi,
    I had a question on the fractional shares, I am unable to place a fractional share order when buying a stock on ETrade. I was able to do this in Robinhood and also I have turned on the Dividend Reinvestment in ETrade. This buys the shares in fractions as I get paid. But I am not able to place a fractional-order on that stock.

    • @TruFinancials
      @TruFinancials  4 роки тому +2

      Each brokerage does fractional shares differently. E-Trade as of right now unfortunately doesn't do fractional shares when buying, only when your dividends get reinvested. Hopefully that changes soon.

    I own stock with E Trade but my screen looks nothing like yours. The stock was purchased thru my past employer so I have never spoken to E Trade and really don't know what do to. I do get a quarterly statement from them and that's all. They never ask me if I would like to buy more or do i want to sell. The stock was purchased at $18/share and is now valued at $164/share. Are there brokers who communicate with stock holders besides a quarterly statement email? Thanks

    • @TruFinancials
      @TruFinancials  4 роки тому

      It might look different since it was from a 401k. They usually won't bother you besides the statements. If you want to move your account to a different broker I would call the new broker and ask them what information they need from the old one. Then call E-Trade and pass along the information for them to transfer your account over. Also know as a rollover.

    • @TruFinancials
      @TruFinancials  4 роки тому +3

      Brokerages sometimes give you early access to use part of the funds before the rest clears through to the account. This is common. It shouldn't be more than 3-4 business days for it all to clear.

    Ok... so it says I have 15$ in my net account amount, but when I want to buy a stock that's 7$, it says insuff. funds. is this because the transaction between my bank and etrade haven't cleared, or is there a maze of fees that don't appear?

    • @TruFinancials
      @TruFinancials  4 роки тому +1

      That's strange. There aren't hidden fees that would cause that. Possibly there is a delay in the funds clearing.

      As someone who's been using multiple investing brokerages to record videos, this one feels behind. The user interface is clunky and hard to find what I'm looking for. Every brokerage takes a bit of getting use to, but this one feels outdated overall. As mentioned in the video, this isn't an account I personally have but for a family member.
