Why a white guy like me loves watching how talented you are? I have no idea but I think you are amazing and a blessing to those people and I think you're changing lives.
It's in your DNA....All white people admire black people exponential talents and beauty...Unfortunately the admiration cause countless nonblacks to become severely insecure and racist towards black people. It's a shame. 😮
You are so unique in your business. I am impressed every unit that you do. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and giving us updates on how this works. Amen
I just started watching you two days ago, and I must say that you are the coldest stylist that I have ever seen in all my 38 years of doing hair. I love how detailed and passionate you are while styling each person's hair. I can tell that you are in you God given talent. You inspire me to sit in a live class of yours even though I don't do men's hair. I just love watching you do your thing. Keep up the great work be blessed.!
I have been following you for a few months now. I started searching UA-cam for information and options 2yrs ago after I was diagnosed with universals alopecia (totally hairless). Your work is amazing, and you are going above and beyond with services for your client.
Just Purchased my first PU base unit. So excited about it too.. I've been watching you for years and I'm happy I've made the investment.. I plan on using tape while using this unit. Thank you so much for the tutorials and information..I hope to start purchasing full units from you as I suffer from alopecia due to menopause.. It is really hard finding a supplier that I trust..Because I've watched your work and have watched you evolve using different techniques I'm happy to say I trust you and your products. So far I've done the Kinky curly tapered look using tracks, then with various toppers and now your PU unit..My challenge has always been creating the sides to create a natural look.. Thank you for the videos on how to create the look. I've also purchased from you your fibers and fiber applicator and bulk hair. Wish me luck as I attempt to graduate from tracks to PU units and I look forward to future purchases. You are The G.O.A.T. seriously..and again thank you for all you do 💜💜🤎🤎

Mickey you are awesome! I have scarring alopecia when I finished chemo two years ago and younhave given me so much HOPE that I can get hair styles again that will look natural.
I applaud you for this video. Very informative for someone like me interested but knows very little about. You covered all the points needed for watchers. Due to no jump cuts and not repeating yourself, I can tell that you know what you’re talking about and pretty professional from what I see outside of your work environment. Thank you 👍🏽
GOD GIFTED & TALENTED YOU ARE INDEED!!! We here in Minneapolis Mn are extremely limited of gifted barbers/stylist such as yourself. They CAN'T CUT HAIR, STYLE HAIR, AND KNOW ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL ABOUT PROVIDING OR APPLYING UNITS. THEY DON'T SELL UNITS HERE PERIOD. IF YOU OPENED UP BUSINESS HERE, YOU'D DEFINITELY BECOME RICH/ WEALTHY IMMEDIATELY!!!PPL WITH LUPUS, CANCER, AND ALOPECIA WOULD LOVE & SEVERELY NEED YOUR SERVICES EXTREMELY BAAAD. THE SINGLE PIECES APPLIED TO THE SCALP AND THE FINISHED LOOK YOU PROVIDE SHOWS YOUR TRUE TALENT & AND ARE DEFINITELY FAVORITES!! KEEP THE VIDEOS COMING, WE LOVE THEM. GOD BLESS YOU
If the opportunity for business is great there, why don't you attend one of the many Unit Install Classes that Mickey has, and learn how to install the Units yourself and later open u shop and start providing the service to the many potential clients you speak about?
Hey Mickey 😉 I appreciate your explanation of this procedure. As far as keeping it dry…swim cap. There are swim caps out here to accommodate all lengths & thickness of hair. Use it in the shower/bath. You’d figure there would be a market for these units though. You shouldn’t have to go on a hunt for them. You might have to start your own line 🤔. Take care. Peace ✌🏾.
Trust me I thought of that 4yrs ago but I’m really not into creating new product ..it’s a headache 🤕 but I do appreciate the motivation ❤️❤️ 🙏🏽 thank you
I respect that lives are being changed with different hair options. Also $100 to $150 is fair for a unit that will only last a week in a half so if it takes 2hrs to do $50 per hour or $75 per hour depending or if the client wants parts etc. Also many beauty supply stores across the u.s sale wigs & weave to cater to women but not men wave units/toupee especially for African American Men. That's abit strange it's like you'll have to search online of find a barber/stylist who gets them. When it comes to african american men often have to jump through hoops.
Happy New Week 💜 love your artistic gift of helping other's to have confidence within themselves. ❤️ you are truly a gift from God and your hands are Anointed. Keep Showing Up creating healthy crowns.
Blessings Mickey Da Barber and team. Mickey you are the real deal. You are so ready for the game changer that will change your life and world forever. I am impressed with you, I see special 🙏🏾🔥💰❤️
This was a great video. I do my own units on myself and I thought I was doing something wrong because they only lasted 3 weeks with the glue. It would start lifting but based off what you said, that's the amount of time it SHOULD last. Thank you for this video.
I have a 4C real hair Unit since New years Eve. I took mine off to clean my scalp because it got moisture in front of the unit & it was loose because didn't use glue but tape & started smelling. I had spot cleaned the area with wintergreen alcohol then tea tree oil. Later I took it off to washed the unit & gently detangle it then blow dry it. It's holding up nicely so far. Going back for my 3rd maintenance in couple of weeks. This time he used glue. So I feel it's more secure when I pick it out.
@@MasterSelfLove $100 but everyone is different with setting prices. I will be getting another unit and keep going to my Barber because he learned from Mickey
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mickey, I'm truly a fan of your magnificent work. I wish you would work on Caucasian hair as well. Having said that, I hope you have a speedy recovery from that cough. Stay Safe & Healthy.
You were the 1st person I seen doing this yrs back so to me you are the GOAT! I am a chick and I just was interested because today on tv there was a case about the care and ty for explaining....now I understand more. Thanks and keep doing the best!
This information she is delivering has blown me away. I clicked on this video looking how to manage a perfect fro for kinky hair which l have and l am 50 years old. I been washing, moisturizing, and blow drying it for about 3 years now and mainly brush it back and throw on a cap. If l wear a fro it will not stay big and upright if its any type of humidity in the air it will draw up no matter what, and l got so frustrated having it perfect and step out for the day and it all draws up even with holding spray. I would like to get a lace front l can take on and off in a afro style to avoid dealing with my own hair when l want that perfect afro lift with certain outfits l wear.

Mickey no one can tell me that you are not gifted by God. Your hands and mind are blessed. Baby Girl you are more than awesome. The first time that I saw you was tonight when you transformed a lady that was bald on the top. You shaped a design to the back of her head from your phone and added hair to her crown and ended with curls....This touched my heart. DON'T STOP. I am lost for words.

Two-four week hair unit: This unit is made of synthetic hair and uses bonding glue, so it lasts longer than a fill-in unit, two to four weeks. However, the bonding glue can have a not-so-pleasant odor and can irritate the scalp if it gets wet. Touch-ups are possible with this unit. Three-to-four month unit: This unit is made of human hair and requires a supplier to find the hairpiece. It can be styled with heat and shampooed. This unit is glued on the scalp, but it is recommended to take it off every two weeks to clean the scalp and the unit itself. This unit lasts three to four months, but it can vary depending on how well it is maintained.
I love the hairstyle. But I wondered will the glue irritate and itch the skin on scalp,? Is there a option to put a barrier between the scalp and unit for people with sensitive skin?❤
I am a female bald by choice. I have some small alopecia patches on the edges and some thinning up top. I am interested in a male unit for the top. I cannot tell if male units are different from female, but the seem to be more of what I am looking for. Thank you for this Video
You mentioned in the video that weave hair can be difficult to find. Can you recommend any suppliers or hair distributors? How much does it typically cost to get a hair unit installed? I noticed that you said glue doesn irritates the scalp. Can you recommend an alternative to glue for adhering the hair unit? Can you tell me more about the two-pay unit? How long does it typically last?
