Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for sharing your knowledge. If you get money for it who cares! There are a lot of ways you could get money without sharing anything! I've been stomping thru the woods and peeping and creeping along creeks and rivers since I was a young teenager. I've learned a lot over 50 some odd years and really hope that never stops!

The Bic extender is one of the best inventions I've seen. Never knew about the child safety feature on a Bic light before. As I've said before, learn something new with all of your videos. That's important information because I've waited days for a lighter to dry out and be workable again. Now I know the secret to get it working again.
I like that you give website links to the things you use and/or talk about.

Thank you so much. I love these short videos: concise and super informative. For me, videos under 15 mins (better under 10) work best - easier to watch when life is always on the go. The longer ones tend to go 'on the shelf' are in danger of not being returned to.
    Great job!

Highly love you Corporal, Semper Fi. I first found this vid here in Jan 2020 (I FINALLY GOT USED TO WRITING "2017 Yamcha, YOU ASSHOLE!") and these are great, American made productions. First thought it was a lil' too bit "sponsored by" but as always you give thorough information about the product, how to use them best, and I *know* you wouldn't recommend a tool that didn't do its damn job.
I also like how you low-key express the facts that we can in some situations actually make kit-items like this that'll work if not just as well. The Storming of the Fence idea as I call it. Once the gate to the concept is opened by someone, tons of minds flood through, and some will make it from what's around out of need, whereas others have the faculties to make a very professional device of that concept.
I don't know, just makes me happy to see. Made in America glad to see that, Oo Rah. Best wishes all

I always keep a bic, a ferro-rod on my person plus a lip-balm container with vaseline inside as propellant just in case.
Nice ideas for preparedness. Cordage, thread, needles are so overlooked.
Crazy yes, but dental floss makes for really great stitching repairs as well.

1:30 Keeping your li'l Bic lighter in a Zip-lock bag solves the water problem dead in its tracks. If you slip that li'l parcel inside your trousers with the fruit & veg, it'll stay warm enough to light! Well done with the candle trick! Love it!

About time someone made a video like this, all these people saying you need to have lighters in your backpack but they do not have any protection on them. So when The lighters are moving around in there backpack and something presses down the trigger it’s releasing the fluid and then when you use it you have no fluid so it’s pointless to have it in your bag in the first place. Great video man

Wowser! I live in the UK and took a look at these products on Amazon. The prices nearly took my breath away. GBP 20 for the lighter case? GBP 43 for the ripSpool? So, GBP 63 for both items. Exotac must be making their shareholders very happy. I'll simply have to make my own. Which is what we should be doing anyway. Nice 'vid' all the same.

Interesting products and seem useful for a lot of people. But to be honest these look relatively easy to improvise and make. You could combine both with an empty spice container due to the shape and they are designed to be air and water tight by default. Use a zip tie as a fuel stop on the bic then use the internal space for storage. Also doubles as a hobo reel if you use braided line.

Being that a fire is an essential part of survival I have found that dryer lint makes for a great fire starter. I started adding a Ziploc bag of it to my bug out bag. If you've got wet tinder or perhaps can't find tinder...dryer lint works awesome....so .any clothes have a poly mix in them tat burns really hot for quite a few min. If you ave never tried it....you ought to
