I built one with a megacycle cam , white Brothers piston and 42mm carb. I put yamaha tt600 valves and did the headwork. I also spun a custom intake manifold. Made 56 horse.
Love the classic colors. I guess I’m getting older because I bought a DR650 and moded the living crap out of it and it’s now my favorite bike to ride. It just takes me damn near anywhere! 💪

Gorgeous, well cared for enduro. Always loved Suzuki and their motorcycles, both street and dirt. John Lee is one hell of a good painter. He adjusted and adapted to that major change, very quickly. The 90s are back! That is the cleanest DR from that era I've seen. As demonstrated by the video these are very good wheelie bikes, and ya gotta be not be a weenie and kick it like ya mean it. Ya gotta love that. Also gotta love that a new 2024 model, colors / graphics and upgrades like the Barnett clutch, exhaust and tuning aside, is exactly the same 😂

I really appreciate the old thumpers.
I owned the 2007 Suzuki Drz-400. Blue and white with a little bit of Red. Miss riding that bike even though it was only a 400 always dependable.

Me too, my first new motorcycle. I installed a Thumper Racing 435cc kit almost immediately, it was great. The 650 was too heavy and ugly, still is.
