You total star. Saved me time and money! I thought it was a fault and would need to book in to a dealer miles away. This fix took me five minutes and the bike is now charging as expected. Thanks again.
Oh Paula you star. I’ve the bike over a year and thought this was just terrible design that you had to open the seat and switch cables over to charge. Do’h!
Thank you very much for this. I just could not work out how to charge from the external socket. After quite a bit of searching you the the only person to clearly document the how and the why. Certainly nothing in the manual. Cheers.
Thank you. I was Charging today first time my Soco and this was stupid for me to change cables all the time when you need to charge. Thank you so much. I will fix this tomorrow :) Cheers :)
Have this too and I like it fine .... and if your lighting does not go off, just open your handle and move the wire at the light switch . . And if you turn on the switch, your lamp will immediately switch to low beam or high beam, whichever you choose. If you want to have the headlight off, add an extra steering wheel switch and then interrupt the black wire at the headlight and solder the switch in between.
Looking closely at the transit cable. It ONLY connects to the power input. The other pins don't have connecters! Makes you wonder if it is even doing a completely safe charge on its own. But also implies you can charge with just the right dc voltage source. I'm thinking about solar and skipping the mains stages to make it simpler and more efficient. I'm looking at other bikes as well though. Interesting thing to know about, thanks!
Hello. What can you say about the quality of this bike, is it worth buying one and changing from a gasoline one? How many kilometers did you drive on it? How much does it accelerate as much as possible on GPS?
So you can charge the bike from external now with no need to unplug the battery right? Is this built in or did you put some other devices/cables into the bike for being able to do so? My next question would be then why is there any transit cable , which i do believe i do not have in my bike currently..thought it was missing until now :). Also is a quick charge using a supercharger (10A) possible as the cables look quite a bit thin.
@@paulatrounce7522 Thanks for the reply. Yes, I've tested it and it works indeed! The internal plug gets a bit warm but seems OK. Very cool and your video on that helped. Thanks :)
Why isn't that the standard setup anyway? I have a small electric Vespa ish looking scooter for now and it's setup is like that. I was wondering why people had to replug their battery in the bike to charge from the port. I ride the small scooter for now but am going to upgrade my license to what's called Code111 here come spring so I can then ride 125cc class bikes like the TC Max. Am looking into maybe getting one, that's how I came across your channel.
I did this with my 2022 TCmax but if I charge it with the cut switch on, my charger don't recognize that is 100% charged and maintains in the red light mode, if I put it into off position, problem solved.

Saved my first day with my TC Max ! 5 minutes and it is working like a charm ! Thank you very much !

I didn't know, but I'm glad i saw your videos. I'm just got TC max. Thank you
Thank you for this video. I am second owner and wondered why side socket did not allow charge.
That's a good thing to know before buying a Super Soco. Thanks 👌🏽

I like what you’ve done with your garden

Great video helped me out my dealer left mine plugged in thanks for help
Very handy "How to" video Paula 👍 Shame my transit cable was removed by the dealer as I may need it for a charger based project I have in mind.

Thankyou very much indeed, I had exactly the same problem. Awesome video cheers.

That's correct. It will charge from the external port now. No idea about fast charging

How is your bike now in 2023? Still riding?
