No clip of installing the hub back into the bearing? Hopefully the axle nut wasn’t used to pull it back together. I’m not sure if the bearing will fully seat using only the axle nut.
@@TopShottaFYC you don’t really put the old one back in. You press out the back half of the bearing in the hub, and remove or cut off the race on the hub if reusing the hub, then press in a whole new bearing assembly before pressing the hub in.
Acura should consider this as an upgrade on the TLX. With a car that massive in both size and weight, better braking is always a plus and reduced brake fade.
Those new callipers and rotors look so much better than the old ones plus with the better braking it's a good job done guys, oh and that Apex Blue is such an amazing colour 🤩👏👍

would this fit onto a 3rd gen rdx aspec shawd? I asked my local dealership and they told me they would not do this upgrade for me because its not for RDX
Love the upgrade, but IMO I would've went with R1 Concepts Carbon Alloy Cross Drilled Geomet Rotors instead of plain solid disc. And used stainless steel braided brake lines instead of the spongy rubber ones
Adding cross drill rotors and stainless steel brake lines would be a nice upgrades. However, we did not soft brake pedal with the factory rubber lines.
But why isn’t it in the video? I have never seen anyone put the race back on a bearing like that. Usually everyone just replaces them once they have been separated. And did they install it just by tightening down on the axle nut? IDK. I smell something stinky here.
Great write up. I got the Type S brake kit as well for the A Spec. So what is the process of bleeding the brake since it is an electronic pump on the reservoir. It throw me an error light on my dash. Thank you.

Very nice! I just bought a 2021 A-Spec SH-AWD. How much did the brembo upgrade cost total? And what mods does this A-Spec have to make it go from 0-60mph in 3.7 seconds? I need those mods!
Can you guys measure center to center on the mounting tabs on the calipers? Would like to put these on my 2020 RDX A-Spec but need to make sure they have the same spacing for mounting to the knuckle. The next thing will be finding a similar size and offset rotor that's 5x114 to fit to the RDX.
HI @ahc garage i have ordered the brake kit for my TLX but acura discontinued the brake bracket on your part list. Can i do the instal without it or is it not do able without it
