Thanks so much; I made it while working at Sony and at a certain point it was taken out of my hands and given to an agency to re-cut. The version they made obviously ended up being a lot more "American / commercial." This version was never used - just wanted a smart audience to get a chance to see it. And yes, it wasn't my final version, so there are some musical sections to iron out, plus I could only draw music from a library, rather than the great budget many trailers have to use popular music. Quality drama with nightmarish themes and visuals, and a group of fascinating characters to enjoy. Some of the supporting players were wonderful; sometimes the main cast eclipsed Hettienne Park, Scott Thompson, Lara Jean Chorosteki, and Raul Esparza in popularity but these folks did excellent work.

This I was watching before the shit started. I enjoyed this series though didn't finish it. I did say I enjoy psychological thrillers. They are much more interesting than horror for the sake of horror. These type of movies show how people can be misconceived on the outer appearance of a person and being refined or quieter does not mean that they are not dangerous or calculating. Rather on the contrary. Yet an outspoken loud mouth can be made to feel or be seen as the offensive person. Because they are brash. Isn't that why they say it's the quiet ones you need to watch? The ones who aren't so quick to share their thoughts? How well they can hide within the social standings and uphold quite prestige positions.. oh there is learning for those willing to see it. Such movies show the very relevance of just how trusting people can be with so called respected members of society. Though he may not swear or raise his voice.. doesn't make his character safer than I am. How foolish people can be.. how many have been wrongly accused and framed for things they did not do.. there, there now.. lower your voice, I'm just going to give you something to help you calm down and sleep.. hmm, oh it's ok I'm a Dr. Oh the power they world over others.. I've just watching this on N. and one thing is annoying me: catching fork during eating. A film director didn't check savoir-vivre, a fork is NOT a spoon and every gentleman knows about it. When you are use a fork always put the food on outside side of it. Hannibal doesn't know about it? It is a very, very big film's mistake.

The series is more than worthwhile. They made three seasons and it was cancelled prematurely, but don't let that prevent you from enjoying this deliciously dark, top notch crime show. The acting, scripts, deaths, score, camera work ... all great.
I watched it seeing review of many people but turned out to be such an irritating series that I didn't finish it . If you are looking for a crime series where the fbi works and solves the crimes and catches the culprit, this is not the one to watch folks! Here the serial killer keeps butchering people one after another and all the fbi does is discuss how he might have done it. To top it the fbi guy himself gets inspired by the killer and becomes one himself and starts eating human meat. Yukk. Is not worth a watch ...waste waste waste.
