Everybody is comparing this to VOCALOID. I don’t think it really matters. Both programs are good and bad, depending on who uses them. I just love this song. It’s so beautiful, no matter who sings it.
Pm - That’s why it depends on who’s using them, you just furthered my point, thanks. There are different English accents, Eleanor does not fit into my accent. People will tune whatever is it (be it VOCALOID, CeVio, UTAU or Synth V (etc)) to their own accent.
Pm - Also, I’m not a native English speaker, and I find the English phonetics easy to use. easier than UTAU or CeVio, for sure. Spanish is my native language, I learned English a year or two ago. My friend is a native English speaker (I study abroad), he can’t tune a VOCALOID for shit. Yet me, who has the shittiest accent of all time (it’s really bad), can work with DAINA and Luka perfectly. Not sure about other VOCALOIDS, but DAINA and Luka English seem pretty easy to use.

@@aspasp9568 Relax on the racism. I'm a native English speaker and Daina and Songman are very clear to me. While Eleanore is obviously more understandable than a lot of VOCALOIDs the synthesis noise is heavy, ending plosives are very over-pronounced and aspirated, and diphthongs are stretched heavily. That being said it's a very impressive program and VOCALOID can take a lot from it such as better vocal tension and the pitch bending is much easier to control
Within 30 seconds I fell in love!😍 This tuning is incredible, I love when her voice did the vibrato thing at just the right moment! When I saw jar of hearts and eleanor, I thought that was a cute combination. I didnt expect it to be this amazing! She voice sounds as smooth as the original song!
Now that her AI bank is out, if you ever remake this with I think we’ll all simply ascend to heaven just on the first note, not to mention the rest of the song. This is so lovely even after all this time 🥰

well I haven't played with tension THAT much, but if you want to pull of a scream, you definitely want to turn that up . Maybe play with the vibrato and pitchbend intensity as well?
This is such a great cover! I love your tuning and mixing, but to me, Eleanor's voice sounds a bit weird sometimes. I don't really know how to put, since I actually have no clue about music at all... When a vocaloid's voice is supposed to be a bit wavering (?) when they sang a long note, that blueish line is kind of a zick-zack. For example at 3:41 the voice and line are wavering, but in my opinion it sounded a bit weird. Maybe you should make that, I'll just call it "wave" appear a bit later at the same note, where you want that sound. Sorry for my bad English and explanation... Oh, and don't get me wrong, it still sounds awesome and deserves way more attention!
@@Platina_ A human singer doesn't do vibrato at a constant speed, rate and intensity. It's actually impossible for the human voice to do that because of how it works. The vibrato sounds artificial. Also, a human singer will vary how the note vibrates and such, where it vibrates and such. It's probably possible to do with the program or could be implemented.

ZokeKid CPL That wavering of voice is called a vibrato. It's a musical technique.
