I think of myself as being more hawkish than the average person. This guy makes me look like Neville Chamberlain. We absolutely should NOT meddle in the new regime as the Ayatollah is replaced. Whatever comes about must come about via Iranian forces. Whether you think the overthrown govt was legit or not, our INVOLVEMENT severely undermined everything that came after. We should certainly try to take the opportunity to forge a new relationship (without entering into such efforts naively), but no covert plots or machinations. That kind of bullsh-- needs to remain a feature of the cold war.
The moment Iran can build a delivery system for nuclear weapons, they will install these in Venezuela, within range of the US. Currently, there are direct unmarked flights back and forth between Iran and Venezuela, this is how the build up will take place.
The Iranian Mindset’ isn't the right title for this video. Interviewing just one person doesn't capture the diverse perspectives of all Iranians. The lack of freedom of expression in Iran means that media often presents a narrow view, while there are many different opinions among people and parties.
Thank you for a great conversation!
