Hey, thanks for the update. I've started 2,5 months ago, still doing blender, currently can keep up almost all 5 labs at 2x speed with farming T6-T7 during the day, and t3 overnight (perk ban and perk autopick is still a bit low for reliable "automation"). I know coin econ may be better with devo, but have a feeling that having enough cells to push labs faster will help more at this stage. Having more coing income would help progress workshop a bit faster, but labs are the bottleneck currently. Probably going to change to devo once labs get too expensive, but right now I'm still fine with the progress I have. (note: I'm not doing indepth research what I should do to play this game "optimally", just following my intuitions, and picking up base information as I go.)
I was nervous about the same thing but I pushed from where you are currently to t9 within about a month. Even farming to wave 3200 tin T9 brought in more cells than I was farming with blender previously. Moving forward I’m going to only be farming at tiers where I can push past wave 5000 because I think that’s when the elite spawn rates increase. Either way, I’m a big fan of devo and think it’s 100% worth it especially in early to mid game for super fast gains.
I've been following along for the past month or so. You inspired me to try out orb devo. It was quite a shock to have to drop down from my blender build at t8, down to my orb devo build at t3. Turns out i'm making a hell of a lot more coins per hour. Picked up 20 bil coins by wave 3000 on t3. It was quite a hit to take on the elite cells economy however. Instead of fairly consistently running x2 speed on 2-3 labs. I'm now only running 1.5 on 4-5 of them. I'm hoping this coin boost is going to rocket me forward in the workshop so i can start climbing tiers again. It does look like i'm pretty far behind on modules. I guess i never committed many gems to gamble any. I'm about 4k gems away from maxing my commons though. I already have a sync for bh gt and dw. Thinking i'll finish my common cards and then move over to modules.
The economy is absolutely insane I’m glad you’ve seen such great results too! Workshop progress is super quick, I think I was a bit impatient and greedy and neglected cells a bit. But my plan is to make sure that wherever I’m farming I’m consistently getting to 5k+ waves so that my lab speed ups don’t fall behind. Either way though, progress is progress and everything will work itself out in the long run. (Workshops alone pushed me to farming T9 from your position within about a month) As soon as you get those commons out it’s definitely time to hammer out some modules. Max out your common drop chance with me to keep the levels rolling in too. Best of luck & thanks for the comment!
I am more in AFK and I got a lot cells by doing Blender. I don't care much economy I can make my labs up and upgrade some on my workshop. The important thing is my labs are doing 2x and 3x
There is a give and take for sure. I’m going for more of a balance now. Heavy Econ lets you push higher tiers for better cells as well. I wanted to get my workshop to a good spot to where I can have my Econ keep up with my labs. (They are starting to get expensive now)
Hello, really nice to see your improvement so far. I haven't seen this golden bot sheet before, but it looks like if you go this route, you can already put 3 module levels in your GBot cooldown. Although I would just go and lower your cd on your UW's anyway and straight up go for a lower synch, since your DW will earn you more cells this way. I have SL aswell, but I don't want to invest in it before I get my first Ancestral core for the max bonus angle. Since consistency is most important and having 3 SL with a low angle doesn't seem worth it for me. I don't have SM right now, but from what i've seen SM has a massive impact. SM is what'll get you from champion to Legend and what will make T11-13 wave 4500 runs possible. And you don't need to run Orb devo if you got nice SM My recommendation would be to invest your stones in UW cooldown so SM, DW, GT and DW are all on 180 sec, synch your golden bot to 90 sec and after that i would either lower cd's or improve SM quantity and damage or GT bonus. Finishing all common Labs is a nice goal. Just don't forget to max plasma cannon sooner or later, so all bosses until tier 13 will die on 1 hit of thorns. For your labs it would be nice if you could go over all of them. But they look fine for now. Getting all Wall labs to about 10 levels will do a lot. After that just focus on finishing all the module labs, since they'll benefit you a lot in the long run and afer that finish all the "must have" labs like perk%, GB labs, SM labs, level skips, orbs, etc. I hope you already have DW cells maxed. I'm not too far ahead of you and I'm rarely on discord, so take my recommendations with a grain of salt, but I hope I could help a bit
Awesome comment thanks! I think you’re right-I’ll go ahead and pull my UW cooldowns down to match SM then get GB to match in the future. I still think I have quite a bit of quick Econ UW upgrades before I push SM hard, but I’m definitely excited for the day that I start on it. I’ll scroll through all of my lab levels in my next video as well.
@@Austinek Yeah, getting some Econ UW levels first seems like a good idea. I just thought spending 850 stones for a 3rd SL didn't seem worth it to me since you're lacking consistency and going for SM will always be better than going for SL imo. And don't forget the spotlight missiles lab when you improve your SM. I've heard it's insane and scales with your SM labs. I saw a video of Greeny where he explained, that later on a run (wave 5000+) or on t11+ runs, SM is your No1 damage tool for devo and takes care of elites and protectors and at this point your main goal is a strong wall with strong SM But you'll need low cd's on your UW's and a ton of other labs first anyway. But really nice tower and progress you've made so far, I'm exited for your next update :D
@@Austinek Heyhey, I just did some research over the last couple of days and it seems like I was wrong. Improving SL seems like a good choice right now, I totally underrestimated it. Working on my SL aswell. SM is one of the best UW's, but it takes a ton of stones and is more of a late game UW. I've also switched from devo to blender with Black Hole Digester Module and it is a game changer for me. I need to do almost nothing and get way more coins and cells. And the digester works even after you maxed out all stats! Devo is only nice for the first few hundreds of waves to max the DW health bonus early in tournament runs.
I pulled the gun on The Wall for a second time and stuck with it. Right now I am researching Wall Health Regen lvl 10 and it is helping tremendously. Especially since I have 2 infinite black holes so the only enemies getting to the wall are elites. When Regen hits 10 I am going to get Wall Thorns to 10. Now it is at 5 and still helping a lot.
@Austinek I am backseat attack. Mainly let the holes keep normal enemies at bay and let my thorns and weaker wall thorns kill bosses and elites. That's where my attack dmg comes in too, to help kill elites til my wall thorns get stronger. And with ceaseless black holes, protectors are a joke. They just move their crowd from one hole to the next until they die. If I could respec ultimate weapons, I'd definitely undo my black hole cooldown and go for a devo build like yours. It's inspiring. I'm not sure what my build is.
Yeah this game seems like it's all about taking the patient growth path so you can catch up with people who have been playing longer and squeeze into champ/legend. Do you make enough per day to keep up with chaining Wall Fortification levels or are you waiting on that lab?
I've only got 2 labs dedicated to wall right now, but wall thorns and regen are about to be swapped out with wall hp & fortification. I do make enough at this point to keep up with it, but I'll probably only get it up to lvl 5 or so before starting to use wall. (which in theory will push me further and increase econ by a lot)
@Austinek I originally thought it was the labs that was going to be the pinch point in cost but it looks to be the WS that I'll have to sink a butt-tonne of coins into otherwise it will suck in devo with no free ups. Look forward to seeing how you progress
@@AllCloudedmy instinct is that wall regen alone will push me pretty far along. That being said I haven’t actually started wall yet so we shall see. I’m thinking that more wall hp will be a bigger buffer for elites. We shall see in about a week!
Wall can actually be harmful to orb devo in the early stages until the labs are developed more. So just for a day I un-devo’d to knock out some milestones and do a tournament in blender. I will be re-devo-ing until my labs are set up sufficiently. I can touch on this more in the next video too.
Defense absolute is what carried me all the way up through T7. I kept it slightly ahead of hp & regen because it's super helpful in runs before you have all of your perks chosen. Now I keep it maxed because it's relatively cheap at this point & helps at the beginning of milestone pushes.
Hi. Can I know how you play, In emulator on PC or phone (what model)? After a match of 600+ waves the phone gets very hot and needs to be in the game for more than 2 hours
I play on an old iPhone SE so I can keep it running all day. I’m thinking about moving it over to bluestacks emulator soon though. One thing I noticed is that the phone doesn’t get hot if I don’t use a background.
@@Austinek But bluestack emulator requires "virtualization technology" in the computer BIOS settings, I am not so good with computers to do this at my own risk for a mobile game...
1. Does SL bonus damage mess up Devo? I assume the damage is strictly for bullets? 2. I Blender. Today is my 2 month anniversary with the game. I think I am just gonna skip Wall. I just really dislike the idea you have to get it, and then do a lab of each, and then drop it and wait for labs to make it useable. Poor design on the developers. Add in the fact it totally jams up labs for weeks and it’s a big ol’ no from me. Too many labs I need to get finished before dedicating that time to it. I would assume for Devo it’s probably really good though, as it’s a big buffer and lets you farm higher tiers. 3. I think once I get my economy labs finished, I will give Devo a proper shot. I would like to keep notes on income of coins, cells, and shards so for me, I can see what really is the pros and cons. A bit of a waste to do that while I have all my Econ labs running now. Best to let them be done so I can compare more apples to apples. I have 101 second DW, GT, and BH synch with MVN. Also cell lab is about level 10, that needs to complete before appropriate testing. Always good to see your progress and see what’s going on with your tower. Thanks for sharing. P.S. Just from your experience what would you say is your income, cells, and reroll shards with Blender and Devo? What I mean sure Devo coin income is higher than blender, but ballpark number? Like 30%? Same for cells, and re roll shards. Just curious if you don’t mind sharing.
SL bonus doesn't impact orbs or thorns, so it has no effect on orb devo. I think the modifier works for bullets & UW damage within the area. If you are strictly using blender, then I don't think you'll need to get wall then drop it to do labs. I was doing just fine with lvl 1 labs running blender for a couple of days. You only need to drop wall temporarily if you are doing devo, because it screws up your ability to trim basics. I 100% think you should not skip wall, but definitely wait until you're making around 300B+ coins per day. As far as ballpark numbers, it depends heavily on what modules, labs, UW's you have. But I've seen numbers from 30% to 100% increases with devo vs blender. Cells unfortunately are almost cut in half for me, but I have plans to drop down a couple tiers to boost my cell income. Also once my wall is finished, I'm expecting a big bump in cell income. Reroll shards I think are unaffected because they come from bosses, which don't change their rate based on devo/blender. Thanks for watching & commenting!
I will be doing orb devo still! But I am going through moving to wall. Not much changes except for (hopefully) better survivability. Wall requires a lot of research to be helpful so while the research is going I will be back to my regular devo just like the last video.
