Oh yeah I think he found the joy of making music again. He was stuck under the BTS brand and having to stick to the box. This break has allowed the boys to explore and venture which they then can grow. Just so happy that it was not typical and so refreshing. I need it like I didn’t know I needed it. 💜 He did say that the first 3 songs he was angry, he went to his dark side. 😄 I like the weirdness of the music, I enjoy the mix of sounds that don't seem to go together but it works. It give a little bit of a dark feel kinda and maybe that is what he wanted us to feel.
Nuts is my favourite song of the year. It was an IMMEDIATE add to my playlist. Domadachi, out of love, groin, right people wrong place, interlude too. Almost the whole album LOL
I listened to right people wrong place after listening to all the other tracks, and it felt like it was the perfect summary of the whole album and concept of "right person, wrong place". Both it and "Nuts" are totally my jam, I liked them from the second it started 😊 "right person, wrong place" album is beautiful ❤️
Exactamente!!!! Su disco está maravillosamente producido, bien tirado más a lo indie, acá se nota un montón una división entre Namjoon de BTS y Namjoon solista musicalmente, fue radical y contundente me encanta! Muy interesante todo lo que propone
Hey Roscoe!😊 I actually made it to this live. It was so much fun, getting to hang on The Couch while Cap'n Smug theorized. I love this album, I am really loving Joonie's alternative phase. Journey on... 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Thank you for this reaction, Roscoe! Total departure from what we would expect from Namjoon, like he's saying "RM of BTS has left the building; this Namjoon will say whatever and play whatever, take a look at my conflicts and contradictions." Chaos masterfully done, traumatic end to a love affair? Looking forward to the rest of the album.
Hey Cap'n! Okay I'll give you this one ... #smug 😊 Joonie's whole album is another masterpiece; I'm not skipping a single track but i love Heaven, probably because of the dreamy melancholy vibe - as is my inclination. 💜
Really interesting that you have a similar saying in English as in Dutch. Our saying is "door de bomen het bos niet meer zien" translating into "because of the trees you don't see the forest". Which means that you are focusing too much on the details that you don't see the whole picture anymore.
Hi, Roscoe! Are you going to watch the Mini Moni conversation about the album? There's a LOT to digest there... and Namjoon explains a lot about where rpwp came from, emotionally.
Songs that just make you sit up. Like...it ain't gonna let you be sleepy. "Wake up, man" - as one of Bangtan's lyrics go. This is like that. He's making us wake up, man! And the music. Sonically? Ingeniously, it feels at some parts as if it's just a pipe hitting on another steel a pipe - that kind of natural sounds coming out of let's say 'Nuts'. Your reaction to the songs - I do feel like the whole RPWP album is a little left of centre personally - not a bad thing at all - it is being done decidedly and done with a purpose. I mean, we all know Joon and his deep thinking mind. I also agree the second part of the song may have been his message for 'Nuts'; and I feel it might have actually been the first part of it. The song 'RPWP', of course, a beautiful, fitting intro. Taco Bell to fleeting, flee-ing, yet honest journal entries. I've come to the right place. (Not to mention the bird in the window and Joonie...haaaa!) See you in Part 2. Hope you don't get too bored of me. I ramble too much, I know. See yah!
Yea I think Joon actually loved doing and singing Change pt2, and he liked the concept of irregularity and breaking in the music + the fact that he was drunk when he recorded. He transferred the sense of blurred visions and booziness sonically and vocally. I hope i make sense 😂
Roscoe, please check out Blur's album "Think Tank". I have a stong feelings that Namjoon get big influence from this album. The experimental sounds seem very similar. I always have a feelings that Namjoon will suits with Blur's music, especially with their core Damon Albarn.
Oh! I've missed your excellent analysis, dear Roscoe! I miss you and the couch potatoes. but, unfortunately, I prefer to hang out this way, talking about life or BTS. That's why I'm not participating in other meetings of yours, sorry.
@@ThisRoscoe 🤔 yeah, and if like the curveball unpredictable, maybe if a slider directs the ball down and away, it’s indirect and volatile and can really hit a player in the socioeconomics/nuts hence the name of the song BOOOOM 🤣
Hello Roscoe, love your reactions as always. Just letting you know that twenty one pilots dropped a new album which probably you know about already I would like for you to react to the vids and songs, specially At the risk of feeling dumb, vignette, routines in the night and lavish (lavish is definitely the best video). Much love bro ❤

When i think about it, Joke and Do You could fit in RPWP track list!!
Do You by RM is a must for you to review!

In the Mini and Moni music Jonnie talked about the first three tracks he was angry . Watch it , it explains a lot and it is very emotional

Also I definitely think that his collab with Balming Tiger was a turning point for him and it helped him coming out of the box...

I commented earlier on another live (who totally deserved it), and somehow my comment ended up here? I'm sorry for the confusion. You are great!
Funnily enough my Spotify playlist for NJ is called Floating…

A slider in baseball is like a curveball only the ball cuts sharply down and away 🤷♀️
Also a bit... 'unpredictable'... 👀
